[Doppelganger!Stefan here, in the Alesci house with a sleeping doppelganger!Xander on the couch behind him. It's been a hell of a month, let him tell you. He's holding a beer bottle, but he doesn't sip from it as he regards "the camera."]

Okay, "Stefanizo," I get that I owe you big time, but actually working your job was not part of that IOU. I don't do crowds. [Now the world knows how Stefan mysteriously got his shifts "covered" while he's in Tokyo.] You're welcome, by the way, for compelling all the babies at Sunday school. Perfect little angels, right?

[He finally takes a sip of his beer.] More seriously - since we keep talking about preparing ourselves for the worst, I might as well cure some of my boredom. Who's interested in learning hand-to-hand combat?

Tokyo: Pink lights over Tokyo. A giant kappa awakens under the city, rises to the surface, and goes on an (accidental) rampage, desperately searching for water: It waddles around in bigger and smaller circles and asks with a thundering voice for directions to the next big body of water. Starting in Shinjuku, the kappa then moves southwest towards the harbour. The search leaves all of inner Tokyo in ruins from being stepped on, only the Tokyo Tower mysteriously remaining upright, if without power (you'll have to take the stairs, sorry). The kappa moves fairly quickly; everything is over in less than an hour, as it dives into the ocean and curls up on the bottom of the Tokyo Bay. The Japanese parliament has an emergency meeting and decides to try and have the military bomb the monster to death as soon as possible. If you want your numbered to show up at this debate or stop the bombing of Tokyo Bay physically, please comment to the appropriate thread.

((ooc: Sorry, there seems to have been miscommunication regarding if there would be a mod posted thing for this or not - I hadn't planned on it, but here it is belatedly. Sorry again!))

[Misa is obviously freaking out a little. He eyes are wide, she's breathing fast, and she is newly blonde since she last appeared on the network. But her latest echoed change isn't anything that's visible.]

The lights over Tokyo— something is happening, I'm going home. If anyone is coming and needs a place to stay, my apartment is open to you. It's not very big, but I'll make room for anyone who needs it. Bring a sleeping bag or air mattress if you can. Private message me for the address, and if you have a doppelganger either do it in person or by phone. I don't want any uninvited guests showing up.

What: D!Cesar's going to kidnap Nathan for his plans to get at Tony!

Warnings: D!Cesar is yandere as all get out. There will probably be swearing, attempts at serious violence, and anything else that comes with a kidnapping.

The school outside the computer room is silent with the night's stillness, and computer fan whirring fills the small room. There aren't many lights, but the doppelganger realizes by now that this is normal. He's been here before. Everything is as he expects.

The door was already cracked open, and he pushes it all the way, letting computer-screen light spill into the hall. Whether or not the room's sole occupant turns at the shift in sound, Cesar removes the outermost paper from a pocket, shaking it out of its folds. It's loud and out of place in the silence. Permanent marker stares out from the dim lighting in bold.

DON'T TRY TO ALERT TONY. COME WITH ME.

I HAVE A GUN.

Heavy seconds tick pass. Cesar pulls back the edge of his jacket to show the brand new holster at his waist, dropping the cloth back down when the point has been made.

[The face that pops up will only be familiar to a couple of the original Numbered, but many of the doppelgangers should know it. That's right, folks; it's doppel-Nathan. Who seems to be . . . looking upside-down into the feed. Anyone at the castle can find him lying on his back on a bed, head bent backward over the edge while he speaks into the phone on the floor. And kicks his legs restlessly. The only thing the network sees is the youthful pout, short locks of white hair hanging away from his forehead.]

Hanging around the castle is getting so boring again and all you people are being too serious. C'mon, who wants to loosen up and hit London or something? L? That's close to the old stompin' grounds, right? Could be pretty cool. [He has no idea if it's close to Winchester or not and he can't be bothered to look it up. Hey, it's all just England, isn't it?]

[Misa has been largely silent since her run in with the doppel Dians, scared out of her mind that they would come murder her before anyone could put a stop to them. The thought still scares her, but as she is currently in a different country (London, not far from the transporter) it's probably safe to show her face without giving too much away. And she wants to show her face. Aside from having a small echo to show off, she can't expect anyone else to be open with her if she isn't open herself.]

I never thought one trip would lead to me visiting so many places... Has anyone else seen the light over London and changed, somehow?

[She holds her phone as far away from her body as her arm will allow for a moment, before bringing it back to her face. The difference isn't at all obvious, but she is somewhat thinner.]

I didn't notice right away, but I lost 20 pounds! I haven't been this tiny since high school. [She giggles, sounding pleased.] Maybe the other-me really is a model, that's weird to think about. Anyway, if anyone else saw the lights and changed I'd like to hear about it!

[She pauses for a few seconds, about to end the message, when something else occurs to her.]

Does anyone on here celebrate White Day? It feels weird to celebrate Valentine's Day and not White day— not that I did anything for Valentine's... but I heard that people in this part of the world only celebrate one.

[For all that Emil manages to make his presence known on the Network well enough, it's usually in responses to other things people have to say. Today is one of the rare exceptions.]

I know there might be more... pressing matters, given the current state of affairs. [The doubles of people and just recently the lights over London] But I had... a question, I suppose it'd be best to call it.

[There's a pause, and the camera pulls back to reveal where he's standing. It's clearly some manner of room, but it's one that's very sci-fi. Albeit a rather 70's sort of sci-fi. It looks too, like something that John had echoed back, for anyone who might have had the privilege of setting foot into John's police box.]

I'm aware that hidden rooms are, generally, something that might be common. But I wouldn't have expected to find one inside a clock. Unless there's someone here who might have found one in a similarly unlikely place? Or perhaps recognizes the general layout?

Robyn....forgot a few weeks ago. She still remembered me and I told her about being numbered, but she doesn't remember any of the Network stuff. She said it's still fine for me to stay with her, but...

But if something follows me home, I don't want it to be her home when she wouldn't be prepared for it.

*Guess who's facing the 'camera' in an empty hallway with a familiar tablet in hand? This guy. Hopefully Cesar won't miss that thing for communicating, because Doppelganger!Cesar won't be giving it back any time soon...*

*Doppel!Cesar gives the castle window (his network connection) a small smile, before putting the tablet's screen right up to fill the feed's vision. The screen has... a power point presentation?*

Hello! I'm afraid I physically can't talk, but there's a few things that need to be said.

( We wait for the bus, we wait for the mail, we wait till we're dust for those unholy grails. )

What: Tony and Cesar come to collect 'L' before he does anything rash.
When: Early on during all the confusion.
Where: Germany, starting in a cafe near the castle
Warnings: Doppel!L and his suggestiveness!

It took Cesar almost fifteen minutes to tear himself away from the teleporter, and in the end it's a reminder from Tony that does the trick. 'This is just great, and all, but weren't you worried about L?' Yes, he was. There aren't so many cafes in the area that they have to search far, but they still have a cellphone out for directions, and the snow is thick enough that they almost get lost regardless. It's winter in Germany.

By the time they finally get to the right cafe, Cesar is half expecting L to be gone. The bell on the door tinkles when they open it, and they're immediately met by warm air and a comfortable bustle of the late afternoon crowd. He stops a little off to the door's side, scanning the room.

[Emi appears on the network again in a video, with of course the usual bearing about her, but looking a bit concerned over recent entries on the Network this week. They had barely dealt with the trouble in Lapland and barely a week after they all get home, something else starts to kick off. She's seen the... other her's Network log, though. As soon as she can get a hold of the original, powered Numbered she can trust, she's going to tell them to get over to Germany and keep her doppelgänger safe.]

It appears there's copies of us running around now. Normally I would have thought this impossible, but there's nothing about us that isn't impossible, is there?

If nothing's done we will be getting more trouble from non-Numbered soon, given the way some of these copies, if they really are copies, are behaving. I don't have to tell everyone that they need to be stopped quickly, yes?

[She had never imagined finding something like this so soon after arriving in the States. Though nearly breathless with excitement, Misa attempts to keep herself in check and remain at least a little bit professional. Beaming at the discovery is impossible to cover up, but she manages to avoid blurting out the first question that comes to mind in favor of a thought-out response.]
