[ At eleven AM, a pulsing shockwave resonates throughout Las Vegas. Seemingly coming from somewhere deep underground, the ripple of force doesn't last long - but that doesn't mean that it isn't strong enough to make any nearby reincarnates stumble or fall.
The quake that happens soon afterwards is much stronger. Unlike the last, it seems to rumble on and on... until it reaches its crescendo with the emergence of a monstrous pink crabster from beneath the recently-flooded area of the city. A miniature tsunami accompanies the 300-foot behemoth, further damaging the surroundings not already levelled by the flooding and the quakes.
It doesn't take long for Refined Shell to get its bearings and begin its rampage. Everything within range can expect to be swiped at, stamped on or crushed between its pincers in its mindless rage.
You might say it seems to be feeling a touch... crabby. ]

"Uh huh, Got some from the teleporter thing...and messed up some walls. I want to help them Emi..."

"Good... Help me lift this thing." It's clear that they are well ahead of any emergency services, given the uneven ground and how far they've gone, it'll be some time before they catch up.
Now, carefully, she grips the piece of rubble...

Dani moved to the other side and takes grip of the rubble and speaks to the person under the rubble.
"It's okay..we'll get you out of there. Just hold on okay?"
What if this girl's one of Dani's online friends?
And under that rubble, there was a girl not much older than Dani herself.
Dani might never know, as she doesn't voice chat
"Hey..can you hear me? It's okay. We have you."
Well... probably a good thing, then. And you can NPC the girl?
"Can you move?"

"It's okay..Where is your mom?"
Dani knelt down, getting mud and blood on her clothes trying to get a hold of the girl's hand. Just something she knew from hospitals.

The girl turns to look at Emi and speaks again, still upset and hurting, --Who are you?--

She's afraid her appearance might frighten the girl too much, so she only gets as close as she needs to, just to get some idea of how bad this girl's hurt. "What's your name?"

Dani's forgotten but she's more interested in trying to calm the girl and look for her mom..or help.
--What..What happened? I was just going home...--
She doesn't seem to have a idea of what happened..which probably gives a clue how long she's been hurt and hidden.

It doesn't look like the girl, Aria, neck is hurt at all. A small mercy. But from what little medical knowledge Emi has seems to indicate Aria is getting worse. Internal bleeding, perhaps? Her skin looks frightenally pale, cold and clammy to touch. There's not much either Dani or Emi can do, and those who could actually be able to help Aria are a long way away. "You didn't see the giant crab monster?"

Aria just shivers for a second and closes her eyes. Her grip on Dani's hand tightens then slowly starts to let go. But she does shake her head no a little, although she does seem to be in pain when she does so.
"Hey...Hold on okay Aria?" Even Dani was starting to notice and it was starting to scare her.
-No..I was heading t a friend's house. Then it went dark and it hurt...It hurts now too...-

Too little too late, she fears... She not sure, but this girl needs an IV or something to keep her alive.
"We'll... We'll find your mom, okay? After you're better..."

She's struggling but opens her eyes for the moment. The look in them is far off and unfocused. She's not going to be holding on much longer...especially with how distressed the idea her Mom not coming soon.

Aria is whining a little bit and her voice is getting softer. She had been there too long..too much bleeding that wasn't able to be seen...Her hand finally falls from Dani's as she can't hold onto it anymore.
"Hey..Come on...They are almost here..I know it!"

Dani can only sit there wide a wide eyed and fearful look. Tears are running down her cheeks because she was at a loss of what to do..

It's no use, the girl had slipped into unconsciousness again, this time for the last time. Emi tries to feel for a pulse, praying that Aria hold on...
But it fades away...
"No..." Emi gasped, her hand coming to her own mouth. "We... We couldn't save her..."
