Where: Las Vegas, flooded area and surroundings

[ At eleven AM, a pulsing shockwave resonates throughout Las Vegas. Seemingly coming from somewhere deep underground, the ripple of force doesn't last long - but that doesn't mean that it isn't strong enough to make any nearby reincarnates stumble or fall.
The quake that happens soon afterwards is much stronger. Unlike the last, it seems to rumble on and on... until it reaches its crescendo with the emergence of a monstrous pink crabster from beneath the recently-flooded area of the city. A miniature tsunami accompanies the 300-foot behemoth, further damaging the surroundings not already levelled by the flooding and the quakes.
It doesn't take long for Refined Shell to get its bearings and begin its rampage. Everything within range can expect to be swiped at, stamped on or crushed between its pincers in its mindless rage.
You might say it seems to be feeling a touch... crabby. ]

[She's absolutely surprised by this herself seeing as when she went out to do firearm practice with her aunt, she could barely aim a pistol and now apparently she could handle a full sized sniper rifle. She was absolutely ecstatic about her new found abilities.]
What about you-when did you get laser beams!? That's so cool!

Just now, I guess--I knew ghosts could have them, but I didn't think I did!
[Unfortunately, they don't seem to be doing too much damage. He throws both of his hands forward and grits his teeth as he tries to power it up. Sure enough, the combined beam strengthens into a green so bright it almost appears white and crackling, but it still isn't enough. He tries harder, his grunt turning into a scream from the effort, until eventually the beam from his hands die. Instead, the scream becomes unbearably loud, and it echoes. Shockwaves of green emanate from his screaming and smack the crab right in its sensitive area, causing it to unbalance and stumble backwards to try and right itself under the force of it.
It only lasts for a short time, though, because after about 15 seconds, it stops, and Danny slumps over, barely able to keep himself standing. He looks dazed and exhausted.]

[Robyn had to admit those blasts were pretty flashy and only became more impressive when they were combined into a single beam. She went to shield her eyes as the blast became brighter only to change her focus to covering her eyes as Danny's attacked suddenly became a sonic scream that pounded into the Crab.
...That was certainly a thing.
When the attack finishes she uncovers her ears so that she can effectively display how wow'd she was by the display. Except it's cut short when she notices Danny can barely keep himself up on his feet, she'll ditch her scythe and dash his way at an impressive speed to try and catch him before he falls.]

When he speaks, his voice is small and weak.]
Oh man. That--that's never happened before.
[He tries to push himself back up onto his own legs, but instead ends up collapsing into Robyn's grasp even more.]

Woah, woah. Easy there. I gotchya.
Apparently.
[She's tries to help Danny up to his feet only to have him slip back into her arms a moment later. Jeez, what was she going to do with this guy? She couldn't just leave him here with the giant crab still scuttling about. She'd have to get him away from the fight.]
Okay, I'm going to try something so just bear with me.
[She keeps one arm around Danny's back and moves to wrap the other around the crook of his knees, she then tried to lift him and to her surprise she could actually do it.
She had to admit, this increased strength was kind of awesome.]

[At least he'll start off with something simple and not assume what the situation was. There was a possibility that they may not even need his help.]

[He says, mumbling as he lays limp in Robyn's arms, looking sick and weak.]

[She'll glance down at Danny as he mumbles before she turns her attention back to Xander.]

[At least he's genuine with his apology, even if he can't look sorry at the moment. He glances at Danny then turns his attention to the Refined Shell fora moment. They shouldn't be here for long.]
Then he probably not well. I'm a part of the network and I can take him to somewhere safe rather quickly.

[He manages to sound forceful for a moment, and even acts on it, wriggling out of Robyn's grasp to get back on his own two legs to prove just how fine he is.
The answer is not at all, because he almost immediately loses his balance and falls to the ground with a soft 'oof.']

[She hadn't really expected him to try and get up again so it wasn't too hard for him to get out of it and onto his feet. She tried to catch him when he fell over again but was a little too slow.]

[She'll kneel down to try and help him back up. Her eyes will shift back over to Xander.] </i That would be pretty great, if you could.

I can. [He nods before moving to get a better hold on the younger man.] But, you need to be careful as well, miss.
[Even though it doesn't need to be said, it helped reassure himself a little bit that he won't have to come back here for another injured person. His attention shifts to Danny and gives him a small warning.]
This might feel a little weird for what I'm about to do. We're going to change dimensions and disappear in to a shadow.

[His eyebrows raise in surprise, but it goes unseen due to his mask. He doesn't recall ever taking Danny with him through the shadows. Perhaps the younger man was referencing a different ability with someone else.
Now was not the time to linger and waste more time. So, he starts to sink in to his own shadow with Danny in tow. Continuing the conversation wouldn't be much of an issue, but it would alert others to their location.]

[Whatever dimension-changing powers Danny has experience with, it becomes clear that it's not this one, because as they sink into the shadow, Danny yelps and flails a little, then groans from the ache all over.
Turns out, going through portals or shadows or whatever isn't a universal experience, because Danny is woefully unprepared for this experience.]

[At least they were able to move freely and without much trouble now. Xander was intending to take Danny away from trouble and closer to the paramedics. His company was free to voice his opinion on where he wanted to be delivered.]
