Okay not amused. Gabriel this is all your fault! First you rock up with pointy ears and now look! Ears like yours!

[She turns her head so that her ears are more prominently displayed.]

What am I going to do?

[The last question is more rhetorical and is muttered to herself. She might be starting to freak out. Then suddenly looking up she furrows her brows slightly.]

I guess the better question is how do you tell you're family you're different?

There are ways to hide them but yes, they are a bit inconvenient to say the least.

Well, I de-aged about 15 years and I'm just not telling my parents. Of course, they live in San Diego, so I don't really have to. Also I'm still an adult, even after aging down 15 years, which should tell you something.

My go-to excuse for people who ask is I got some work done. Just tell them you're a bodymod freak or a nerd or something. You're lucky, some people get it worse.

As for my parents, I live with them here in Locke, so even if I moved out now chances are they'd still find out sooner rather than later their daughter is a pointy eared robin hood.

I would suggest investing in a collection of hats and headbands. Keeping this to yourself for as long as possible may be the best approach.

The second pulse I got was this repeating-ing thing, so it was, like, pretty obvious, vee-uss, pretty fast that something was up. I didn't do anything special to tell my mom and dad. I just told them.

I had to shay, shapeshift before they really believed me, though.
