[Guess who isn't amused? That's right, her. The reason for her rather annoyed look is because she is now sporting a set of pointed ears that are slightly bigger than her former human ears. Even if she got creative with her hair, its almost certain the tips would peak out.]

Okay not amused. Gabriel this is all your fault! First you rock up with pointy ears and now look! Ears like yours!

[She turns her head so that her ears are more prominently displayed.]

What am I going to do?

[The last question is more rhetorical and is muttered to herself. She might be starting to freak out. Then suddenly looking up she furrows her brows slightly.]

I guess the better question is how do you tell you're family you're different?

[She blushes realizing who she is complaining to.] Oh Julien-- I'm sorry, here I am ranting about a minor change and... well you're half bird!

[she sighs, closing her eyes.] You're right. And you were right earlier I'm related to the Thorssons through my aunt.

It's not completely local. When I'm out of town I still have claws and weird feet and stuff, even if it's not as... everything. But I'm recognizable. The blue hair, and I've been on the news and everything. I don't know who I'd call on if someone objected.

I'll have to keep that in mind. Maybe the ear points will go away if I am far enough out of town. Not sure but here is hoping since my job is pretty far away.

[She chuckles suddenly.] I think I should start demanding a cut of the profits if I keep finding him numbers who are interested.

[There were many awkward adventures trying to photograph his entire wingspan, and no one's completely happy with what was managed. Plus, his feathers are very white.]

It's just, wrangling people for photo shoots would sort of make me like a talent scout. That takes up a lot of time. Plus while I'd be working for my dad, that means that work comes home with me...

[She shakes her head at that. She and her dad were not on the best of terms still. And although she loved him a lot, she really, really didn't need more reasons to get angry with him.]

[Suddenly Ariel gets a mental image that has her covering her face in her hands as she struggles to contaiin her laughter.]

Some how I got the picture of you being a Las Vegas Show girl diva strutting your thing, only your costume is made from your feather. Julien never go to Las Vegas or this mental image might become a reality.

[Julien does that exhaling-hard thing that's as close as he can come to a non-faked laugh anymore.]

Heads would turn, I'm sure. But I don't crossdress. [he should, he'd get an Echo and start to like it.] And I don't think the Chippendales go for feathers.

[She chuckles, trying not to blush too much at the mental image of Julien being a chippendales. The image causes her to shake her head.]

You never know, you might get into it while being a model. I promise not to tell if you did.
