PLOT: WISE SNAKE'S EMERGENCE

Who: OPEN.
When: March 9th, Sunday, daylight hours.
Where: The business district of Locke City.
What: An enormous snake monster is pissed.
Warnings: Violence.

[The alien explodes silently - but it explodes.

First in a small cloud of hot (rose-scented) gas - those there to watch its final moments will want to step back.

A ripple in the air pulses - heavily - from where it once was, with absolutely no sound and color, but penetrating force. Anyone standing within two miles of the point of origin will feel a push, with those closest guaranteed to be knocked off their feet and temporarily dazed. Cars swerve and crash. Staff in the nearest office buildings launch into disarray. There’s no shielding from the blast - it can be felt through walls, through structures, in the air, and underground.

And it is felt underground.

The entire business district starts to shake, abruptly, jarred to a stir by some movement. It rises over the span of a long half-a-minute to the magnitude of December’s earthquake.

Tuning Towers experiences the worst of it - windows are smashing and objects are shaking loose and falling from the upper floors.

It finally ends - with screaming - as the head of an enormous pink snake breaks the lobby floor.

It flows its way quickly out of the hole it’s made, breaks itself another hole ever so politely through the main entrance doors, which were not meant to accommodate a twenty-foot-tall-and-wide exitor, and as it draws the last of its tail out after it, the quaking dies down.

It’s now roaring its way through the streets of Locke City’s business district - all several hundred meters of Wise Snake, emerged in the flesh (or stone?).

No regard for the walls of buildings, streetlamps, civilians, stopped and blindly pulled-over vehicles, anything else on its course - in a frantically-awakened, unrestricted rampage.]

OH, FUCK. OH JESUS CHRIST, OH SHIT.

[Jovan is screaming at the top of his lungs, because he knows that if he doesn't, he's going to start crying. (Despite his best efforts, though, he is still crying through the screaming.) Why does this keep happening to him? Why does his big dumb shitty fucking piece of shit life always lead to him being in the worst possible place at the worst possible time?

He's just trying to get out of what is now a warzone. Honest to god, he just wanted to get some fucking errands done on a peaceful Sunday, and now he is running through a veritable freakshow of danger trying not to die.

Which is when he hears a roar--an incredibly loud, incredibly close roar that he is pretty sure is not coming from the snake. Jovan is frozen in place and looks up to see another giant monster, this one flesh instead of stone.]

SHIT!

[Luckily for Jovan, the titan isn't actually paying attention to him. If it was, he'd probably already be a bloody smear on the ground.

Not so luckily, something about the building right next to him seems to be bothering it, as it slams a massive fist into the wall. The first blow does more damage to the titan than the building, but it doesn't seem to care, striking again and again with hands healing even as they're broken.

It doesn't take that many blows before there are pieces of concrete and metal and glass falling down to the street, many of them still steaming with rapidly evaporating blood.

[Jovan covers his head with his hands, which, as he watches a giant chunk of building fall right over his head, he realizes is the dumbest possible shit you could do in this situation. What are your hands going to do compared to a bunch of cement and brick?

So, it is with a mix of terror and hatred for human instinct that Jovan finds himself crushed by a series of building chunks, followed by a spray of dust and pebbles.

It's as he's frantically screaming and panting for air that he realizes that he's trapped and that he's in so much pain that something must have gotten seriously injured. God damn it. FUCK HIS LIFE.]
