[It's been a while since Rakka made a post on the network, mostly because of the last time she did, which more or less ended in a complete disaster. She still seems to be a little troubled by it, which is why only her voice can be heard.]

So, someone really was murdered. I wonder why someone would ever...

[Her voice trails away, the usual tone less cheerful than ever. The murder wasn't something she wanted to focus on now or ever. Besides, she had a question to ask.]

Nevermind. Uh, I was wondering if anyone has ever had... a spirit guide or something like that. I keep seeing this crow around the city. I think it's following me around, and I remember my other self seeing it too. I'm not sure what I'm supposed to do with it though.

[A quiet sigh.] Being an angel is weird...

I figured that not everyone has heard, - Shiro went west cuz of family stuff. He might try to get ahold of friends, but... we know how that goes.

[ shou's just a little tired and his accent a lot stronger than normal. he doesn't like it when people leave and he was trying to come to grips with the whole angst storm he and kei had gone through a while ago. ]

I'm also tossing this out for those that don't know - I can help you with any financial needs like specialized equipment or the like thanks to whatever the pulses do to you. ...Funny thing, I called my mom today. It's a day late according to her but she's glad that I'm still breathing and haven't gotten seriously hurt. She worries a little, thinking that I'm doing something stupid... [ and she would be right. she really does know her son and all his reckless, silly ways. ]

She said she's waiting for me to tell her I was like the others on the television. Numbered, basically.

I'm not really hiding but still... it's a little weird. Especially when she decided to give me a speech on gun safety and how to prevent getting my pinkies cut off. I think she's been watching too many yakuza dramas.

[ a ghost of a smile in his voice before he switches gear to another topic. ] Anyone get the feeling that the murder in Vegas is sorta like the ones surrounding here when the Network first started?

[In the evening, Arthur wrote the 'numbers' on the surface of a large window panel with a dry erase marker. He had been busy all week and mostly silent, save for a handful of chats. He was standing in a full, black suit and grey dress shirt that looked as if it were tailored rather than pulled from a thrift shop. He was even wearing driving gloves, to fit the look a hitman would go for.

Anyone listening would likely be confused, because this is going to be the most articulate Arthur will ever have been to date.]

I had a pretty busy week. A lot of good things happened and I'm pretty sure it's all because of the guy I used to be. I feel good, but I get the impression he felt like he was walking on sunshine all day long.

[Arthur paused, swallowing his words for that moment. He was beating around the bush.]

I don't like the guy I think I used to be. He said something that made me really worry he was a horrible guy and that whatever he had at his disposal was something he didn't deserve, but forget that guy.

I'm not looking to be a hero or win people over--I just wanna prove that asshole wrong. So, if you guys ever need my help--ask for Arthur York.

I made too much macaroni last night... does anyone want some? I don't t-think it'll keep long enough to bring some back to Locke City, but if anyone around here would like some, I don't mind sharing. I'd tell you where to come to, but... I s-suspect everyone already knows. I hope everyone had a good Mother's Day! I would like to hear what everyone did, if you don't mind.

[A pause.] I don't have any new information on our "investigation" just yet... we'll have to do a little more digging, I think. Right now, we're just taking a break, I think. It's been a long couple of weeks, and... even if we haven't found m-much yet, it's still tiring work roaming the city. If anyone knows anything new, I'd like to hear about it, too.

Um, that's everything I wanted to say today... [She waves before she cuts the feed.]
