[ Any of the Numbered who have set foot outside today are likely to have seen some of the rather unique posters plastered around on every available building/lamppost/fence/beloved family pet. Observe the glitter-saturated horror. ]



[ Y E A H. Regardless of which echo boundary they're in, the notices are everywhere. Some lucky Numbered may even have had one shoved into their mailbox! GOSH. There's also an address for a weddng chapel in Vegas (confusing many Fussen locals in particular) and a note that masks are mandatory and will be provided to people who don't already have one. How considerate!

C'mon, Numbered Specials. Party with Badri and forget all the horrid stressful things that are happening. ]

Nope. Just delicious, mind-rotting alcohol for Arthur. He slyly reached over to pluck a glass of champagne from a table.

"Well, I dunno. Stoners at a school like that would probably hide it pretty well."

Alcohol is fine with her. Even if both he and Emi are both too young for it.

"You sound so sure about that," she notes, amused.

"Ah. Well," He wished he had some dirt to kick at, because there was just no easy gesture to accommodate utter guilt on fine tiles.

"It's predictable stuff, right? No matter where you go, guys like that probably plan out their days a lot."

Well, as long as he doesn't touch that stuff, she'll not give him a hard time.

"I wasn't aware stoners could plan a thing."

"Well, I dunno. It's probably just like most things you do during the day--you're just trying to hide it," Though, he could sympathize more than he was just theorizing. Arthur did plenty to hide a lot of things on a daily basis and that preparation time was somewhat abyssal.

She looks him over, pondering for a moment...

"Hang around those kind of guys often?" There's better people to hang around, if you ask her.

"Not many folks used to willingly be friends with me," That was to say--almost no one had ever been. He would chat with stoners and metal-heads, because they were the only people outside the team that gave him any time of day.

Then, there was George, who actually managed to become a good friend.

"My choices were kinda slim, you know?"

"Ah, their loss..." She hopes he has better luck on that account now. She figures he'd get along with the younger dwarves, maybe that white haired guy, Tony she thinks is name was.

"There's one thing though... You got a gorgeous girlfriend now."

[knights_king]

"I do," He admitted it, feigning surprise. Arthur was terrible when it came to jokes, but he could shine in the least suspected moments.

"It's so crazy, nobody'll believe it."

There was a small smile from the vampire, who took his hand after a moment.

"Thankfully, I'm quite real..."
