I guess a lot of things do, with how things generally look for us. I still haven't figured out if my echoes are supernatural or mechanical.

If I may ask, what makes you think that regarding your 'pulses'?

Because I've gotten back something that... is sort of like a machine? But... I'm pretty sure science would have a hard time explaining how it goes from a tiny jewel to a rather large, um.

Well, it's sort of like a cannon, but it talks, and fires... energy that apparently comes from me? Somehow.

Perhaps it has something do with magic that allows it to change and use your energy.

That's definitely possible! I guess... if it is magic, it can do anything, right?

Or it's that whole thing of... 'sufficiently advanced technology is indistinguishable from magic.'

It would make explaining things a lot easier instead of figuring out a scientific explanation, especially when you have no knowledge in the field that your ability may fall under.

Or you could go with that explanation too.

I guess when it comes down to it, so long as it's not hurting anything, saying "it just works" is as good as anything.

But back to the point, I wish I could offer something more helpful for the sleeping thing...
