[semi-open] LA, ask me for the truth about it
Who: Harper Sutherland & RELATED PARTIES
When: Saturday, March 15th
Where: The very posh Sutherland residence.
What: SLEEPOVER. GIRLS RULE, BOYS DROOL.
Why: Post Snakeocalypse dose of fun and normalcy. Kinda.
[ Early evening at the Sutherland household, which was, thankfully, still standing in the wake of Wise Snake. Along with an entire straight block of Starbucks establishments. Weird, right? Either way, a few days prior, after resting up, checking that no one had gotten permanently mauled, and being fairly certain the FBI wasn't going to kick down her door, Harper mass texted her teammates et al. with a simple enough offer.
Sleepover at her place, Saturday night. Food provided. Bring-your-own movies and sleep gear. Time, address, floor number. Tada.
Besides, after Sunday, they deserved a little r&r, didn't they? She was lucky enough to have space, time (school? not this week, oh no), and if there's anything Harper dislikes, it's being idle. So it seemed like the perfect chance to do something productive.
A little before the arrival time, she starts on the finishing touches... ]
(ooc. invites were sent to A☆P, but if you have reasonable age-bracket cr (or cr-of-cr) with her for a sleepover, you're more than welcome to hop in!)

ARRIVAL
Throw your stuff down! ]

[Ugh, she should just... get outta here. Dad was home tonight, but whatever, she could lock herself in her room for another night. Yeah, she could just... do that.
Except that would mean backing out. The invite was there, and, well, she couldn't just ignore it. She glances back over her shoulder at the backpack holding a change of clothes, sleepwear and her offering for the night's movies and a few snacks.]
... Fuck it.
[She lets out a breath and then marches up to the front door, only pausing for a second before jabbing the doorbell and shoving her hands back into her jacket pockets, expression set in grim determination.]
no subject
Rery! Fary! Finish these up for me, okay?
[ Her two Fairy Tones perk up, giving her twin salutes and an exemplary "Aye, aye!" while they flit around. ]
Coming!
[ She calls at the door, even though she pauses to peek through the peephole just in case it happened to be a horde of suits. Luckily it isn't, and she opens the door on... wow, could this person look any unhappier to be at a sleepover? Surprise, consternation, and a hint of recognition pass over her face, too quick to really catch. She moves aside, holding the door. Hadn't she seen this girl... ]

And so she's standing on the front doorstep, looking incredibly nervous. So nervous, in fact, it hasn't occurred to her to ring the doorbell yet.]
no subject
Not that she really knows much about the whole... "hanging out" thing...
However, upon spotting a certain shorter dark haired girl just standing there at the doorstep, her expression brightens considerably. It's also notable that Winter is, indeed, just standing there. So, without even thinking much of it, she rushes up behind her. Winter may find a pair of hands slapping onto her shoulders without warning.
Certainly a lot more forward than she would have been weeks ago, but again... there had been bigger things to worry about.]
So! What are you waiting out here for, precisely?

Her entire being is nervousness.
Despite that, she's got her arms crossed, nervously looking around the very nice place this little party's in. ]

If she'd come when it was still daylight, she wouldn't have gotten away with it. Thankfully, no one had noticed on the way here.
It was unfortunately also extremely painful, so once she was there, Jasmine had taken all of her hoodies off and was forced to walk around with her wing in full view. To say she looked self conscious was an understatement]

[Which is to say, Annie's probably showing up a bit earlier than the rest of the crew due to her long-established friendship with the host. She's got a backpack full of important sleepover gear and seems to have bounced back pretty hard from the chaos of the last few days.]
Yo. Who all is coming?

I'm kinda on the edge of this CR so if you want me to I'll nuke this comment
In deference to the fact that she doesn't really know the host, the snacks are of the soda and candy variety. Not the booze and pot variety.]

FOOD
Re: FOOD
('Preference' is putting it lightly.)
So when she sees the table of sweets, she veritably goes starry eyed. With a poorly contained squeal of delight, she attacks that table like white on rice. There is approximately -50% shame as she fills her plate with one of each goodie, be it an eclair, a brownie, a slice of cake, a fruit tart...
Can she really eat them all? ]

I got something.
[And she digs around in her backpack for a moment before proudly presenting the classic film: Ricki-Oh: The Story of Ricki. A magnificently badly dubbed movie with such heartwarming scenes as a guy cutting his own stomach open and attempting to use his intestines to strangle a dude.]
[OOC: Go here for a sample of what this movie is. WARNING: THIS CLIP CONTAINS SCENES OF OVER-THE-TOP BRUTAL AND GOREY MOVIE VIOLENCE OF THE SORT DESCRIBED ABOVE. DO NOT CLICK IF YOU CAN'T HANDLE THAT KIND OF THING.]

MORNING
Did somebody order a cute shirt around here?
Now he's draped over the back of one of the couches, a fair distance away from where everyone was sleeping after Raye had said something about "privacy" and left him there to wait until morning. It isn't as comfortable as being hung up, but it's fine for one night.
That's about when he notices one of the humans stirring and shifts his attention to where they were sleeping. Ah, was Raye finally waking up...?
