Definitely not a friendly language. If anyone were to understand the language of the immortals called Undead on Hajime's original world, they'd know he's just admitted to the network that his blood is green...but it's just going to sound like a garbled mess.]

Figured I'd throw mine out there since everyone else is. Not like it's going to do any good to anyone.

It's too bad it'd probably be difficult to learn each other's strange languages. That'd probably be handy for security...

But to answer your question, no, I haven't gotten anything I'd consider useful from this. But I'm not sure if it'd be better to be uninvolved, either, if this is as important as it seems.

I'm not sure how useful this one would be. It's...missing things. Like there are concepts whoever the language belonged to just didn't care about or understand.

If there's a threat, then I want to fight it...but dealing with some of this is making that difficult.

I'm sorry, I hadn't thought of that. I've been fortunate enough to not get anything too difficult. [Yet.] But I think I understand what you mean. It's distracting. Even just focusing on homework has been harder than normal.

Seems to be the order of the day.

Not sure how useful it'll be. It's useful if you want to describe a fight. Amazing for that, really, they've got words and phrases for pretty much any sort of fighting maneuver you could imagine.

But that's it. It's like whoever made the language lived for that and only that. There are a few words for other things, but that vocabulary's much more limited.

A sword that is not only absolutely exquisite in its workmanship, but quite functional. Whoever made it definitely understood how to make a weapon that is both beautiful and deadly.

[Of course, he's keeping quiet on the fact that he also gained an ability that allows him to conceal said sword quite nicely. Because of that ability, it almost feels like the sword isn't truly his, more like it is being borrowed from a mysterious place.]

You're lucky. The only item I've gotten back is kind of gaudy and difficult to separate myself from.

I have yet to get another language, though that does seem to be cropping up lately.

Before this started, I don't think I would have defined sword skills as particularly useful, but I suppose for what we're up against, a case could be made for it.

From what I understand, whatever is happening to us isn't intended to make our everyday lives better. Though with the confusion and how it's been upsetting people, I don't see how much use any of it will be in the case of danger.

It's troubling.

[Saturday afternoon, and Lyall's finally made it to Hajime's restaurant. Between Stella, the statues, his students, the network, and all the paperwork, he just hasn't had time. But he's here now, and going to try out the garlic thing.

He wanders in during Hajime's shift for the day, and looks about for him in particular. Hmm, apparently this is one of those order-at-the-register places.]

[The restaurant's quieted down a bit from the initial lunch rush, and Hajime can be found behind that counter, cleaning it and prepping things for the next customer. He'll wave at Lyall. He still looks pretty tired, like he hasn't been sleeping too well.]

Mr. Lyall! Such a surprise to see you here.

[So he needs everyone else in the restaurant to think. He's also entering in an order in the cash register. The chef's been experimenting with garlic-fried rice, and that's what Lyall's going to get, along with anything else he might care to try.]
