[General Log] Tuning Towers, Sept. 22 onward.
Who: Any and all!
Where: The site of Tuning Towers (and/or en route accordingly), at the heart of the business district in Locke City's downtown.
When: September 22nd and onward.
What: Following that mysterious buzzing sound to its strongest point! Perhaps you made plans with numbered associates for a trip downtown, or perhaps you went a-wandering alone to follow the noise yourself - surely you'll hardly be the only one.
[Tuning Towers, the third-largest building in the United States and Locke City's most prominent feature, from a tourist perspective in one sense and quite literally by another - look up and marvel, if you will, should you not be a bit too distracted by the circumstances.
Even if you needed to focus to tune into the buzzing in your brain at the start of whatever trip you took, you'll find that by the time you come close enough to the tower to feel a rising sensation of tremors beneath your feet - unnoticed, as far as one can tell, by the crowds, which almost never lack presence around the building - you'll be able to hear it very easily without even trying. It isn't terribly intrusive in the first couple of days after the return of the lights in the sky. As September moves on and into October, however, the intensity will grow all the more overbearing.
It is, indeed, even worse if you enter the building - only the ground floor is accessible to the unauthorized by the tower's maintenance and management or personnel of the companies making use of it. Apart from that, among the indoor crowds, you'll find nothing unusual on the ground floor - and if you'll find that the buzzing loses its strength the higher you go if you take a trip up to one of the observation floors.]

I... thought I'd already replied to this, I'm sorry!!
[...Wait.] ...Do you feel that?
NP!
no subject
You... I don't know if we should stay where we are, come on.
no subject
[ There's a pause as she speaks, because she's getting that empty feeling again...the feeling that always precedes something coming back. ]
no subject
Closer to the tower? [A huff.] I don't know about this shaking, but we should still check out, huh?
no subject
[ That sounds a lot more confused and a lot less sure of herself than Sophie usually does. She looks a tad disoriented. ]
That works.
no subject
[He's not far behind in that, still standing still. After a moment though, he shakes his head, then moves forward again.
Something's up with him, but he just can't seem to put his finger on it.]
Yeah, [a little firmer this time, though not by much.] The faster we get there, the better, huh? And we're practically there...
[Yet he can't quite remember getting so close anymore.]
no subject
[ She doesn't quite finish the sentence, but she follows along, unable to quite believe what may be happening, here. ]
It's getting worse.
no subject
It is. It's... [Another breath and they're there, they're really there, and that is definitely the same feeling he's gotten every time he's remembered something. Definitely.]
We're here. Do you feel something else, too? Not the ground, the...
no subject
[ It's the echo, yes, but...she's... ]
...I think I can - see?
[ It's not the right way to say it, because that's not what it is, exactly.
But it's more than she's ever had before. ]
no subject
You... You can see?! Your eyes?!
no subject
[ That'd have her sitting down, hard. She wouldn't know how to process it, not that she knows how to process this... ]
I can...feel it. Where things are.
no subject
[Maybe it's just his current state of mind, but it's not making any sense. It's not...
She can feel things?]
Like a bat or something?!
[Hardly the most tactful way to put it, but he's not exactly very good at that, even at the best of times.]
no subject
Uh...kind of. There's...vibrations in the ground, and I can...tell what they're hitting?
[ Why is this so hard to explain. ]
no subject
He breathes out a sigh, turning to look at her properly now.]
...Seriously? That's... That's so weird! So you, the other you, you could always see?!
no subject
[ She sounds a little frustrated, there. ]
no subject
And... [--Wait.] You can tell where the towers are now, right?
no subject
[ To demonstrate, she...points at them. She can point at stuff accurately now, SKILL LEVEL UP. ]
no subject
Whoa, you really can! Then, what are we waiting for if you can find it yourself now?!
no subject
She's going to have to get used to this seeing-stuff stuff. ][ NICE SAVE, SOPHIE. ]
HOW HAS IT BEEN NEARLY 20 DAYS I'M SORRY...
I bet I'll still get there before you!
no worries! ...i screwed my html somehow...
[ SHE WILL RUN THERE, EVEN. ]
thank you!! and aww hahaha it happens to all of us...
Then you better just stop standing around! I'll get there before you even start moving!
[True to his word, he's setting off at a brisk walk, though he keeps his eyes on her.]
no subject
...Still has to pretend to be blind for the public, because of the cane, but. ]
no subject
[After a moment, he sets off after her, not really even paying attention to who may see them.
This is a totally normal sight and he'll hear no word otherwise.]
