fifteenth feather [Video/action] - Doppelganger
[The video flickers to life, and it shows Rakka's face. She appears to be in Neuschwanstein. An odd sort of trend for people on the network recently, making posts while at the castle grounds. It was likely to not raise any particular warning signs, unless you know what this coincidence probably means.
Rakka brushed some hair from her face. It didn't help to improve her fairly disheveled look at all, and in fact might have made it worse. All in all, she didn't seem to be happy, or even smiling. Hey, was that a bruise?]
Hey, it's Rakka. [There just wasn't as much energy in her tone as usual.] It seems like everyone around here's been losing their minds. Apparently it means that there's clones of all of us running around... but, maybe it just means that things are getting even worse. In a way, that would make sense, right?
[But, honestly, she wasn't sure what was happening. She'd been thinking about what Emi had said to her, about her apparently showing the vampire some kindness. She wouldn't lie about that, would she...? What would she even have to gain, except for a moment's confusion on the Haibane's part which could be a little funny for someone else...]
Dammit... [She whispered with a sigh, expression quickly turning frustrated.] I don't fucking know. It's not like anything in this world makes any sense anyways. It doesn't even matter, does it? [A question that seems to bother her.] I'm trying really hard to figure that out... but I can't.
[And she kills the feed.]

[The tone of her voice is the usual, unsure and slightly fearful one. At least Rakka is getting this Emi today. Of course, she's somewhere in the castle.]
You changed again... I like you when you were nicer.
[Audio]
A thought that both offered her comfort... and frustrated her.]
...Was I nice, Emi? How nice was I?
[Audio]
Very. You didn't seem, well, yourself.
[Audio]
[She went silent, contemplating that.]
Maybe she's actually happy. I wonder how she does it. I can't imagine there being another me.

Action
Yoohoo! Rakka.
[ She waved, walking over, while glancing side to side to make sure Raye wasn't going to come barreling in to smash one or both of them for some perceived slight. ]
You aren't the only one worried, you know.
Action
M-marina... [Great. Another person she had been picked on by. There was a noticeable moment where Rakka took a step back, aiming to excuse herself as quick as possible in case things went very sour.]
I... I'm not? Of course I'm not.
Action
I don't think they like us. The other ones.

But its still Rakka. A different version of Rakka, but Rakka just the same. And could they ever feel content not at least trying to help any of the doubles? They were still people... weren't they?]
I'm... I'm sure it'll all work out soon...
We just have to give it our best efforts, right?
[Rakka grit her teeth. She wanted to shout at them, for what they'd said to her a few days ago, but her voice came out at about normal speaking level.]
Nothing's going to work out, and it never has.
If we all work together, there's got to be something that'll work out for everyone...

You look worried, pet. [Her eyes narrow slightly even as her smirk grows by just as much.] Hmm... you've been thinking again, haven't you? What did I tell you about doing that?
[Action] yeaaah more then likely
R-raye...! [There was nowhere to run, nowhere to hide. There was no reason to run anyways. She could never escape Raye, there was simply no point.] I-I.... you see...
[Her smile was tight and nervous, her gaze flipping between Senketsu and the person she'd come to know as a girlfriend, as well as a woman to be feared.]
Yep. So CW for this post onward for general unpleasant abusive stuff
I told you that you didn't have to do that anymore. [She closes in the rest of the way and reaches out, touching Rakka's bruised cheek gently, tenderly even.] All you need to do-
[The soft touch drifts down from Rakka's cheek, to her neck before coming to rest on her shoulder.]
- is what you're told.
[And she shoves Rakka backwards towards one of the walls. Not at all gently.]
Big CW coming!

Please, do think about how you reflect on the rest of us. You may not care about your own image, but don't drag the rest of us down by association.

[She gave the dark-haired man a look, already expecting the worst.]
You look different. You don't have a fucking ridiculous Hawaiian shirt on, and you're not saying any innuendos.
[Audio]
No. No, I don't. And I'm not. They tell me he eats bacon, too.
[So disgusted.]

Real!Emi [Video]
What's happened to your wings?
[The tone wasn't that of a girl that's frightened of everything...]
Real!Emi [Video]
[This couldn't be the Emi she knew. Emi wouldn't raise such a question after all the time she'd known her.]
... It's a long story, Emi. Do you really want to hear it?

action;
"It doesn't matter," you say.
Where do you believe we will get with that sort of attitude?
action;
Saretha, I... [No. There was no talking her way out of this.] Forget it, okay? Raye already talked to me about it.
action;
[She shakes her head, taking a step inside. Her expression stays calm.]
You ask me to forget an awful lot by saying that, I think. I somehow doubt that was much of an encouragement.
[Her voice is low, and doesn't betray any emotion. To most people, her stance, the way she comes across... It might not seem too different from how any other Saretha might act.
What goes on in her head is an entirely other matter, however.]
