[Kara's staring seriously into the camera when it clicks on, hair pulled up into a messy bun and arms spread business-like across her desk. on her left is an impressive stack of children's valentines (you know the kind, the ones with cartoon characters you buy in boxes for the class party) and on her right is an equally impressive bag of fun size chocolate.]

Greetings, fellow clubmates! I am sorry to be taking up your attention like this, but considering the date I am afraid that it cannot be avoided.

[the way she's speaking makes it seem like this is a life or death scenario, but then she keeps going and...]

In only a few days' time the Day of Valentines will be upon us! We do not celebrate such a holiday at home, but I have done the research on it and know very well that not receiving an affectionate greeting card can cause irreparable damage to one's soul and ruin lives!

[that's how it seemed in the many, many movies she watched that touched on the subject, at least]

I do not wish for my dear Numbered friends to suffer such a tragic fate! There were a great deal of charming cards and sweets on sale which I have taken the liberty of purchasing, and I implore you to allow me to write you at least one of them!

We may arrange for a drop-off point if you are leery of having your identity revealed, but please do not let pride keep you from accepting it! There is only so much time in which I can make these deliveries. I promise that my penmanship is excellent and any good tidings I write will stave off the horrible life-crushing feelings!

I agree. I've been missing out on some prime hang-out time lately, but my schedule's finally clearing up. It'll be nice to get the not-so-teen Titans together for... wow, is it going to be the first time we're all in one place in person?

I believe so! I have never met you outside of the network, and I only see Rachel on the occasion which our gym schedules match up.

[which. isn't that often at all whoops.]

Well, hell, let's do this. And maybe I'll start hitting the gym, too. I can't be the only non-buff lady around here.

My arm might be a little hard to tone, though. [she wiggles her stony fingers for the camera.] I'll stop by a masonry store, too.

[there's a funny sequence as Kara instinctively leans forward to look more closely at Brooke's arm, then almost immediately realizes that this is HELLA RUDE and tries to jerk herself back inconspicuously]

Beginning a gym schedule is quite fun, especially if you have the cheerful music and a workout buddy to accompany it! I am certain that you will enjoy it, even if you must bring a chisel for the upper body days.

I don't think this is what people have in mind when they talk about sculpted muscles. What kind of music are you into for working out? I'm trying to get into more stuff myself.

I enjoy the high energy upbeat music for when I do the cardio and jogging, and the more intense rock for weight days. It is good for becoming inspired.

[she's got playlists upon playlists for her workouts, man]

Sweet. I'll have to ask you for some recs when we finally meet in person. Ugh, this is gonna be so fun! [her face lights up. Kara's infectious, obviously.] I haven't looked forward to something like this in a long time.

I am doubly glad that I am able to participate, then! [she claps her hands together softly]

I will try to remember to bring my iPod along with the sweets - some of the band names I think may be difficult to remember without the visual aids.
