Warnings: Spoilers for Attack on Titan all over.

[ At last, the big day has come. The Echo party. Sasha was bringing snacks, and Ryan and Bertholdt even decked the place out in Christmas decorations-- they have a real tree and everything. Their apartment looks, in a word, festive, which is adorable given that they're wearing matching christmas sweaters and fidgeting around a bit. ]

[ Now just pretend Ryan and Bertl don't look kinda titan-y and you're all set. And forget about the part where they're having a bunch of kids over to discuss their ridiculously depressing past lives... Well. You feel me. ]

[ So yeah!!! THIS IS IT!! Just for reference, I'm putting a "Start" (ie: for people getting to the party if you wanna awkwardly greet people or so you can handwave that too) and then just saying like "later" or whatever for Ryan's big heck up, you guys are free to start threads whenever/wherever just say when in the subject if you wanna. (so like, 3DMG showing offs and PS3 fun times, etc. go crazy!!) ]

[Voice quiet like the start of any social event for Jamie, still laced with annoyance however. Gotta put on that facade for YEAGER.]

[ Ellie is here, too. She is pretending very hard that she cannot see the beard. She can will it away if she tries hard enough. She can hate the beard out of existence. She can do it. She just can't acknowledge the beard as being A Thing.

She is also still carrying the backpack she rescued from Alan's house weeks ago. Because she has been too busy ignoring the beard to think to give him it. ]

[ Says the armor-faced guy. He's trying to be nice, really. ]

Guess you can take that off now that you're inside, right?

[Jamie comes in with Anthony and Marzio.. he keeps his eyes averted to most and just finds himself a spot on one of Bertholdt's big Lazy Boys. He brought his PS3 as well as his 3DS, backpack full of whatever he might need and more..]

Hey! We never did trade, did we? [ Seeing Jamie reminds Ryan of his TinyMon-- he actually brought his 2DS out for this. He's been playing a lot since he's just been staying indoors. ]

Do you wanna try and battle later, too? Bertl still hasn't beaten the Elite Four.

[SLAPS HIM SUPER HARD ON THE BACKPACK OOPS HE DOESN'T KNOW THERE MIGHT BE EXPENSIVE GAMING EQUIPMENT IS IN THERE. HE'S JUST TRYING TO BE FRIENDLY.]

[Anthony lets him sit wherever he wants but not without an AFFECTIONATE BROTHERLY MESSING UP OF HIS HAIR you're welcome.]

[Bertholdt doesn't even notice Jamie at first, he's so tiny and quiet on their chair, but when he comes in from the kitchen with sodas, he glances down at him and offers him a can.]

H-hi, Jamie. Do you want some?

[ And here's Walter, clutching the duffel bag he uses to transport his sword semi-discreetly. He thought people might want to have a look at it when it's not buried in a tree.

He's looking a little nervous. This is an apartment full of past life giant slayers, which could trigger echoes. Which is really the point of all this, probably, but he doesn't particularly want to deal with another tentacle-based one. Excuse him if he's kind of jumpy. ]

Ryan probably has somewhere you can put that.

[ Nodding at the bag why have so many people brought things

[He's excused, but Anthony is merciless in his popping out of nowhere with an empty cup in hand and a plate of cookie in the other, a grin on his face.]

[He doesn't even go here.

Or at least not as far as echoes are concerned. But, hell, for all he knows there was some freaky fate bullshit that meant that he and Anthony were connected for all the years he's spent together, and he's not going to pass up the opportunity to potentially learn who he was God knows how long ago.

So he shuffles into Bertholdt and Ryan's apartment looking terribly out of place, but what else is he supposed to do? Ignore the opportunity to spend time with people so much older than him? As if.]

[ Ah yes, the life of the party has finally arrived, dressed to kill in a hoodie and cargo pants and positively bursting with the Christmas spirit. You can practically see it on his face: the somewhat shifty eyes, the furrowed brow, the overall expression of apprehension. A real party animal, this one.

Wary of getting accosted at the door, he makes a beeline for one of the more solitary seating options available and plops down there. Let's get this shit over with, kiddos. ]

[Connie thrusts himself into the party as quickly as he can. Maybe it's not totally a party, but he's happy to be here regardless and Ryan's approval means everything to him. He'll probably make a line for the snacks with Sasha or with Sasha not far behind, and then mingle to his hearts content. Hey are those video games? Is that music? Do you have any Outkast? Connie flutters around aimlessly.]

[ Chloe shows up in a suitably ugly sweater, sadly not Christmas-themed, but it does its job well enough in keeping her warm despite the fact that she swims in it, just like pretty much everything else. Unsurprising, in all her 4'9" glory.

She has also brought food. And possibly booze for the inclined/legal. 'Tis the season and they're probably going to need it. ]

[ As always, Ellie is distinctly uncomfortable with the whole large gathering of people thing. She's determined to be her usual unapproachable self, and as such has claimed a seat close to the edge of the gathering where she might not be noticed.

 

This would be a lot more effective if she wasn't:

1) wearing her full 3DMG, since she escorted Alan here and was paranoid enough to think they might have to make a quick getaway

2) staring at everyone in turn from under her bangs in a way that she thinks is being subtle, but in reality makes her look like a crazy suspicious creeper and/or like she's making eyes at people. She's just trying to see if she recognises anyone from her memories, okay. Geez.

[Sasha, as promised, provides a lot of snacks. Various kinds of potato chips and the like, a few boxes of pizza, and some various kinds of soda. She's also brought herself a handful of squirrel jerky to freak people out with, but she didn't really think anyone else would want it. After finding somewhere good to put all the food she brought she starts mingling with everyone else.]
