[ At last, the big day has come. The Echo party. Sasha was bringing snacks, and Ryan and Bertholdt even decked the place out in Christmas decorations-- they have a real tree and everything. Their apartment looks, in a word, festive, which is adorable given that they're wearing matching christmas sweaters and fidgeting around a bit. ]

[ Now just pretend Ryan and Bertl don't look kinda titan-y and you're all set. And forget about the part where they're having a bunch of kids over to discuss their ridiculously depressing past lives... Well. You feel me. ]

[ So yeah!!! THIS IS IT!! Just for reference, I'm putting a "Start" (ie: for people getting to the party if you wanna awkwardly greet people or so you can handwave that too) and then just saying like "later" or whatever for Ryan's big heck up, you guys are free to start threads whenever/wherever just say when in the subject if you wanna. (so like, 3DMG showing offs and PS3 fun times, etc. go crazy!!) ]

[He takes a breath, trying to remember all the details of his trial.]

Well, uh... the military were trying to decide what to do with me. The Military Police wanted to dissect me because they thought I was too dangerous alive. The Survey Corps - the guys you were with - wanted me to join them. And I guess by beating me you showed everyone that you could stop me if I got out of control.

[ He takes a quick moment to process that sudden infodump before responding. ]

...So you're saying that by kicking you in the face a bunch of times in front of all your friends, I was actually saving your life.

[ It might be hard to tell, but he's feeling just a bit smug right now. ]

...I think so. Our lives were fucked up like that.

Sounds like yours was a lot more fucked up than mine. No offense.

[ He pauses again for a moment to debate whether to ask another question, wary that the answer might immediately prove what he just said incorrect. In the end, though, curiosity wins. ]

You remember anything else about me?

[He pauses as well because his memories of Levi aren't mostly all that pleasant. But this meeting's about sharing echo stuff, right? Might as well get it all out.]

You came up with a plan for stopping me if I lost control of my titan. It involved cutting my limbs off.

[ How strange that Alan's memories of him aren't pleasant. It's almost as if Levi's not a pleasant person. As for lopping limbs off, though, that wasn't exactly what he was expecting to hear. Eww. ]

Cutting me out without any damage would've been too difficult. But, uh. It was okay, since I could just grow stuff back.

[ He almost doesn't want to know. ]

I don't actually turn into a titan as such? I mean. My real body's still there inside the titan's neck.

This one time I transformed by accident. It was the partial thing that's even grosser than normal since it's pretty much just a lump of meat. Anyway, everyone else was flipping out because they thought I'd done it on purpose, but you told them to calm their tits.

Also there was a crazy lady who I think wanted to experiment on me or something.
