I'm totally playing it close to the vest, but I finished my Halloween costume just in time! Chris helped with the lights and wiring, it's pretty awesome!

CHRIS! Hit the music!

[Here's a song you should all know. And since we don't have any characters from it, I don't have to use an expy! When the music starts in earnest, the video comes on to reveal Shiro in his living room, in a full Ghostbuster outfit, complete with glowing lights on his proton pack and a pair of wonderfully oversized goggles on his face. He proceeds to do a pretty goofy dance to the song. Chris, sitting on the couch behind him, laughs, and he laughs himself. She turns off the song and Shiro gives the camera a big grin, pulling the goggles on to his forehead. With his face close to the camera, it's easy to see his fangs... and the fact that the inside of his mouth is now blue. Really, really blue. Like someone took all the red and made it blue. BECAUSE THAT'S WHAT HAPPENED.]

Yeah, I know, the network is supposed to be for important stuff… but I made most of this costume myself! That's pretty important! Hehahaha! Anyway, we'll see you all at the party tomorrow. I'm gonna be bringing a big tray of treats. Ask Chris, I have so much shit to do tomorrow. I'm even going to try and make some home made candy!

Winter's activities and emotions today aren't exactly normal, and it's easy for anyone to see - if there's anywhere you'd like to find her at some point during or after school today, she'll be happy to chat... well, maybe not happy, but she'll do it. She'll also actively leave classes to respond to incidents in the school - Raquel will be on watch again in the afternoon, as he was in the morning.

[This might be her first post to the network, but Blaine won't introduce herself. Why would she? It's not like anyone would actually be interested in her, she assumes from experience, and since she has no interest in helping with the whole world saving thing, she intends to only use the network for practical matters and entertainment, anyway. Hopefully she won't get echoes that give her trouble interacting with people outside of this.

The feed, slightly grainy and obviously shot with a smartphone with low quality, comes on to the sight of a couple of excited trick-and-treating kids. They seem to have a theme going on, all of them dressed up as some MCO character. There is a little thunder god, and his dad, and various other Revenger characters and gods. Seven kids all in all, all with bags or baskets for their spoils.

It will only last long enough to get a good view of them, and then Blaine comes on, dressed up as well. Someone needed to dress up as the villain, right? She seems mostly annoyed, though, despite the costume looking good on her.]

Everyone, if those little pests show up at your door, shower them in treats and let us be on our merry way quickly. I have to take them around tonight, and do not want any complications with that. The faster they go back to the RTC, the faster I can go home as well and get ready for actual work. And if one of them starts to cry, that will just prolong the process and I'll have to deal with that. So. Shower them in candy. [Or she will find a way to get back to you for making her life harder, implied but not said.

Blaine over and out. Really, nobody is less excited about her having to take care of these kids than herself. But it's not like she could pick.]

[The kids and Blaine will be out trick and treating all evening, and she'll march them all over town to tire them out quickly. Expect them to drop by the house that your character lives in and ring the bell.]

[Later on that night Blaine will be working at one of the clubs in town, her costume still the same with the only addition of a sign on front and back reading "security". She can either be found at the entrance, doing her main job of a bouncer, or helping out inside with watching the crowd for trouble. At least the funny hat is off for now.]

Hello everyone. Since I've already offered this to someone here, I thought I should extend the offer to the entire network. If any of you run into some car trouble of anything similar, now or in the future, I'll be able to help out without any awkward questions. And with a Numbers discount, of course. I might be able to help out with other mechanical troubles as well, but I can't make the same guarantee there.

[ While he talks viewers will be able to see how his eye colour keep shifting from the usual maroon to a more vivid red, complete with a slit pupil for extra awkward. At least it's the season for it. ]

Also, I know I'm not the only one with this particular eye problem and from what I've gathered from looking around here contact lenses seem to be the best choice when it comes to hiding it. Now, I've never really had contacts before so I'm not really sure how to go about finding a good pair, and to complicate things a bit more I'm going to need one that at least closely resembles my previous eye colour. Because I assure you, my family is the kind that would notice if there's too much change, and I'd rather avoid trying to explain this to them. So if anyone have any advice about that, I would appreciate it.

[Fay is looking equal parts annoyed and amused, a strange mix, leaning against what looks like a kitchen counter. In the background, a party seems to be going on. Fay himself is dolled up in skintight leopard spots, a tail and a pair of ears that have slipped slightly askew.]

I appreciate that people've been getting some pretty fucking weird memories and abilities and what not, but I ain't sure anyone's gotten anything as stupid as what I think just happened to me.

[He grabs a bottle from the counter, which appears to have a fair share of alcohol in it. Upending it, he completely drains it, making a faint grimace at the sharp taste but otherwise not seeming to react very much at all. He stands still as if waiting for something for a short while, and then shakes his head.]

Nothing. I don't feel a single goddamn thing. And this ain't even the first I've had, you know?

[He sighs a bit mournfully, putting the bottle down.] I ain't sure if this is some kinda vampire thing that just happened or what, but alcohol doesn't seem to do very much at all. I think I'm getting a faint buzz, but by now I should probably be unconscious in a puddle of rather recycled food. I ain't complaining about that part, but seriously?

And if this ain't more useless than a screen door on a submarine, then I really don't know what. [Yep, that's pretty much it folks.]
