Oops.

Anyone know a good place to eat? Nothing too fancy, but I've got a date tonight, and the place I was thinking of taking her is closed. The sign doesn't say why. Looks like the tables all got moved to one side of the room.

I don't have a huge budget, and she doesn't like seafood, but apart from that we should be fine with whatever. Any ideas?

Who: Haruka Minamoto and Kyouya Hibari
What: Making each other's acquaintance.
Where: Locke City Council Animal Shelter
When: June 7th, Friday, late afternoon

There was something Haruka's life had been lacking since she'd moved to Locke City: the presence of animals. Even though she'd never been in a position to own her own pet, that hadn't stopped her from seeking out their company time and time again while growing up. Their open affection and relative honesty was comforting to her, and more than she saw from the people around her. Whether it was from the pets of whoever was hosting her that month, her frequent visits to zoos all over Japan, to occasionally helping out at animal shelters when she could, animals had been an almost constant for her while growing up. Around them, even now, her heart grew softer and her smiles more willing to show themselves.

Now that she was confined to Locke City for the foreseeable future - her hobby of exploring countries forcibly taken away from her - her best option for entertainment was to focus more on the interests she'd already established. And thus, Haruka found herself milling around Locke City Council Animal Shelter's lobby, waiting for the appearance of someone who looked like they could inform her how to begin volunteering there. Preferably that afternoon.

Since there are quite a few new faces on the network since I last checked it, I suppose it's time I made this announcement again.

My name is Dr. Aaron Strider. I run a clinic on Five Forks Road. It specializes in cases that are uninsured, unusual, or otherwise want no questions asked.

Oh, and one more thing.

[The camera pans to a plastic bin full of things. Among a pile of other knickknacks, clothing, etc. there is an eight-inch-across glass orb, half of a sword (the pointed end, not the hilt) and a letter.]

If any of this belongs to you, please come claim it -- and stop leaving your things in the clinic.

Thank you.
