3rd Vision [Video/iPad, Wednesday morning]

[The big-eared tabby-and-white kitten is back. Those of you at the mine might have seen him there, mostly clinging to Alex but occasionally bolting around like a lost, unhappy little thing in a very overwhelming sort of circumstance. Which, y'know, he was.

He still looks a little overwhelmed and unhappy, but he's here.]

So, uh. No one has said anything about the mine... thing... and what the sage of the earth said. Sahhu'auio ur-au-- I mean-- does anyone believe him? Is there actually a jewel down there somewhere? Or was it all hruiss aafaui?

I mean... if we believe it... is anyone sauhhu ur-reh? I mean-- I mean, is anyone going auwsshui’f hwo again? To look?

[He looks even more nervous at that idea.]

Do you think so? Somebody else said they think it was just a big lie.

Well, if we go back and there's nothing there, that's one thing. But if there is something there, and we don't go back, we might not be able to... [Words, words... Fred waves a hand at the edge of the frame as if to call the words to him, then shakes his head and gives it up.] ... to do whatever needs to be done. That Seal thing.

[A brief pause.] We should be careful, though. I guess that could be another trap.

If the seal thing isn't a lie, too. But-- but I can be invisible now. Not for very long... maybe that'll help anyway?

[He's hopeful. He feels like he didn't do much during the cave thing except be scared. Surely there's something else he can do to prove he's a tom, and all! ... well, a fixed tom. But still!]

[Ooh. Fred hadn't thought about that. Not that it actually changes a whole lot, once he does; it's just one more possibility of either "nothing" or "trap within a trap".]

I bet it will. Even when you're not invisible, you're a lot smaller than a human, so you're probably harder to notice.

Yeah. Yeah, I guess so. I didn't get attacked as much in the mine thing... though that might've been the invisible part, too.

So I guess I should... go back, then.

[Fred nods encouragingly.] See? I bet you'd make a great scout.

[Oh, kitty, you seem kind of nervous. Probably. Fred doesn't really know all that much about cats.] Well, I think somebody should. We probably don't want anyone to go alone, just in case.

[That'd be Gomez, all right. Nervous about caves and things.]

Who else would want to? Who wouldn't get hurt?

[He has to clarify. He's already talked to a few people who'd probably go, on their own.]

[Fred frowns. That's a good question, and one he's not sure how to answer.]

I dunno. Maybe we could ask around? I can think of a few people who'd probably want to go, but I don't know how safe they'd be.
