Wow, a secret network! This whole story keeps getting more and more mysterious!
[She had never imagined finding something like this so soon after arriving in the States. Though nearly breathless with excitement, Misa attempts to keep herself in check and remain at least a little bit professional. Beaming at the discovery is impossible to cover up, but she manages to avoid blurting out the first question that comes to mind in favor of a thought-out response.]
Hello, my name is Misa Amane! I’m new here and I’d love to have a conversation with anyone who has been here a while, or has information about what’s been going on. The news has been pretty crazy, but if you want to share your stories then I’m here to listen!
[There, that sounded pretty good, right? She hopes that no one too weird answers, but at least with this number she doesn’t have to meet them face to face right away. Besides, an insider scoop is definitely worth the risks. This is going to get her name on the map for sure.]

[Emoticons might not be the most professional thing, but Misa is kind of at a loss for what else to type.]
That's awful, I'm so sorry!

*No, it's not. It was barely a couple of months ago, and her sentiment here hits him harder than he had any idea to expect. It's to a point that he's answering words that might not even necessarily be for him, and not realizing it because he's too close to notice.*
You're here to try to help, aren't you? We could really use more positive PR, at the very least to shore up public support and protection for the Numbered. We've already had enough catastrophes without adding hate crimes to them.
Text;
Don't worry, that's exactly why I'm here! I'll do everything I can to show people how you really are and beat their lies!
Text;
I appreciate it.

[... Somehow.]
Text;
Out of curiosity, what paper do you work for?
Text;
[And on the off chance that he has somehow heard of it... Misa is definitely not going to give him the name. She'd rather the people here assume she writes for something better than a gossip rag.]
It would be great if you could tell me about some of the papers here! Maybe I could do some work for them.
Text; FYI take the names with a grain of salt!!
I think the Locke Chronicle has been the most neutral. Check it, it's either that or the Tribune.
Text; NOTED
Text;
You would potentially be working for papers that regularly release biased or outright deriding opinions about the Numbered, but unless you echo something in front of them, it's simple enough to hide.

Other than that, it's not always obvious.

I haven't had many changes like that, myself, so I can't tell you for certain.

I've gotten a few memories, and what I suspect might be personality traits. It's one of those cases where it's hard to be sure, because the traits aren't wildly different from what was already there.

[That's not at all the sort of answer Misa was expecting. It almost sounds like a good change, without obvious drawbacks. Still an unsettling notion, but she wouldn't mind suddenly being a better reporter...]
Text;
Before, I was an average engineer. Now I have at least four patents currently pending, a few papers in various stages of completion, and a job that involves pushing scientific boundaries in ways that most people can only dream of.
Text;
Wow!! So it somehow made you smarter and more creative, or unlocked those things inside you?
Text;
It would be nice to think that I already had all these qualities hidden away inside of me, wouldn't it?
