So I got this hat. Do you think it hides my ears okay, guys? I'm hoping it will last until I can start with winter hats.

Not really! No one's ever pulsed a mountain before. There've been giant robots and a bird god, but they just kind of hung out when their owners weren't getting them to do things.

And the mountain's under Las Vegas, too. So... that's pretty crazy.

Well, I guess it kind of would have to be, now that I think about it. Having a dragon be a real thing is a different issue. Are they all sure it's in there?

You should look at the news - Vegas is on a mountaintop, and there's a giant lake now.

No one knows! But it's worth checking since I guess this dragon killed way too many people? No one wants surprise dragon death.

Yeah I kind of cut myself off for a while there, so I should catch up.

Damn, yeah... I guess that's a plan then. No surprise dragon death for me, thanks.

So, where'd you go, anyway? Sounds like you had fun?

I thought I'd try out Hawaii, since that's about as west as you can get. I took a cruise around the islands it was really cool - and I think Jack liked it too.

Everywhere's west to somewhere else, except the poles I guess.

Ughhhhh I am jealous. I've never been there!

[Back to Hawaii.]

It's pretty cool. I went there a few times growing up, but this time it was weird to go by myself. I did a cruise thing, where you tour each of the islands. It's really pretty.

If you go to like the North Pole, then any direction you turn is south. It's weird!

So jealous. [He closes his eyes, apparently to contain said jealousy.] Did you see volcanoes?

Yeah I did go on a hike near one, and the ground was all black at some point, it was pretty cool! Had to leave Jack in a kennel for that though, he wasn't too fond of that.

Ugh, I hate you. [He smiles as he says it.] Bet the heat was terrible.

Dude, don't say that. I think I have enough people hating me at the moment... It was pretty hot, yeah, but I didn't mind so much.

No, actually. I didn't really think about it. I mean, I didn't bring a camera and I left my phone off the whole time.

[No duh, you left your phone off, Julien nobly refrains from saying.] Really? Man. Pick up any souvenirs, besides the hat and the... what are they called, lays?

Oh yeah. I did pick up key chains for everybody, but I kind of lost one of my bags on the flight back, so I'm waiting for it to be delivered.

[He looks down at his floral garland.]

Yeah, I think so.

Aww, really? You might want to wait to hand them out. People will cool off! When they're still angry it's usually better to let them be for a while.

You know, you'd look cute with a flower crown.

[He laughs.]

Dude, I love nature, but I don't think a flower crown is my style.

Just hold the lei over your forehead, c'mon. Please?

[Liam rolls his eyes.]

Ugh, fine.

[He lifts the flower garland and holds it against his forhead, letting Julien see how ridiculous he looks - especially with that frown on his face.]

[The biggest grin! Julien doesn't actually have teeth, that white stuff in his mouth is two solid blocks, one for his upper jaw, one for the lower. Internal beak.]

[Julien covers his lower face (and neck, and chest) with the wrist of one wing, though amusement is clear in his eyes.]
