[Arthur has spent a bit of time exploring this network, and he's been getting ever more excited over everything, because holy cow, this looks cool, and screw consequences, I have something exciting to play with. So he'll open up a video feed using his webcam. He is grinning broadly, waving merrily, and looking like a kid on Christmas morning.]

HELLO, EVERYONE!

[He'll turn to address the goldfish sitting in a bowl on the table next to him, even going through the trouble to adjust the webcam so the fish is in the shot along with him.]

See, Slippy? I TOLD you it would work! OUTRAGEOUS!

[And then he laughs. It's not a crazy man laugh, but man, this guy is certainly in a good mood.]

You never know, it might make for a pretty good party trick if they could lose it and reattach it whenever they wanted!

It could also help them get into places they shouldn't get into, like a bank or something.

Would be a devil of a time trying to keep track of all your limbs in that case...not to mention the dishonesty of it all!

But maybe that's part of the power too.

Discovering that for the first time would have to be one whale of an adventure!

Yeah, it would be. ...Are you always this cheerful about things?

Sure I am! There's no point in being otherwise! What good's crying or moping going to do anyone?

A little healthy bit of fear might make better to see danger. [or so people tell him all the time]

Hah! Danger? I laugh at danger!

[So he says, anyway. So he says...it's so much easier to boast without any actual danger staring him in the face.]

So does that mean you're the guy in the suped-up Mustang that tries to drive me off the road at three in the morning, or you just enjoy tossing yourself off of bridges?

Souped up Mustang? Hah! I drive a school bus! Just because I don't do any of that stuff doesn't mean I don't like a good adventure every now and then!

Why, I once went hiking through the jungles of Costa Rica all by myself! Wrestled a bear while I was over there, too--it had escaped from the circus, and it was threatening an orphanage that would have been trashed if I hadn't stepped in!

[He's full of it, basically, and he'll keep on rambling in this fashion until stopped.]

I'm not even near you and I think I'm going to need some high boots after this.

[laughs all the same but it is sort of funny hearing all the boasts.]

So a bus driver?

Yeah, I'm a bus driver, alright! It's important--someone's got to get those kids to school on time!

Nothing wrong with that. I always thought a bus driver better have the patience of a saint considering how mean the kids can get.

I don't tolerate any of that on my bus. They don't get away with much bullying when I'm around!

Good man. I'm glad to hear that you stick with it.

Someone's got to watch out for those kids--and as long as they're on my bus, they're my responsibility!
