So we all need a break and some fun right? Anthony and I are going to try to eat an entire cake, and there's a really nice bakery cafe thing on Pine so everyone is also invited to try. I, personally, will take any bets from someone who can finish an entire cake. Any takers?

Also I will be drinking hot sauce and coffee since somebody won't leave me alone about it :|;;;; Who wants to miss that? No one wants to miss that. I'm sure I'll laugh about it in thirty years.

It's a lot easier to get people to come when you offer to do something stupid. It normally attracts the like-minded.

If you eat the whole cake, I made a commitment. I'll do it.

I don't ask permission to keep notes, or bring them up unnecessarily. But it's not a secret, if that's what you're asking.

I make conversation and I write down some of what they tell me. This really isn't that complicated.

But if you want that specific information.... [He doesn't see why just asking isn't feasible. Then again, Matt is pretty sure he would've lied about a lot of things if he knew someone was keeping notes.]

If anything has convinced me it's the wrong way to go, it's this experience. I like cake, but you're giving me a massive headache.

By all appearances, those poor people have enough to worry about.

I'm a terrible nephew, really. Doing their chores, running their errands. Babysitting the neighbor's kid, bringing home upstanding kids they like. All while maintaining good grades and extracurricular activities.

I don't know how they put up with me.

Not to mention the incredible modesty of their precocious progeny.

That particular honor goes to my parents.
