[Ever since his run-in with some Blood Keys, Suzaku's been on the mend. That's natural and of course, entirely normal. But it's also frustratingly, uselessly slow. Things are happening around him that he can't do anything about. Or rather, he can't do anything about them without popping his recently-acquired seams.

However, there's only so many things he can hold off from doing. Training is certainly not one of those things, and so he's investing his time making sure he doesn't become entirely useless by the time he's fully recovered.

Shame he can't go to the dojo like this, but his front yard will do]

Yeah, according to me. That's what matters here.

[He gets up and places his supplies on the counter before tugging off his shirt. A half-dozen sutures litter his waist, bandages covering some but not others.

They're no surprise to Suzaku of course, and he busies himself with inspecting the broken stitching]

Looks like I can use the same holes, mostly.

What can I say... I've been picking up more of your character traits.

[It'd seem like humor if only his tone weren't so flat. But he's busy picking out the broken stitches]

[After dabbing his cut with some disinfectant and getting rid of whatever blood he can, he turns his back to Van and gets started replacing those stitches.

Really is lucky he doesn't have to poke a bunch of new holes. A few, which doesn't feel great, but he'll grit his teeth through that]

[Finally he thinks he's done, having an awkward time with tying the ends of the thread. But he will do it]

But he does wrap up with his stitches and tape some gauze over it for good measure]

[Now that he's patched up, he starts tidying up the space]
