Where: A community center (let's say it's the same one from the first aid thing)

What: Christmas/Holiday Party!
Warnings: Shenanigans? Kissing?

[ Ah yes, come one, come all! As per the plotting, let's just say Ryan put out a message that went something like this:

Hey everyone! I was wondering how many of us are stuck here in Locke for the holidays. I'm used to parties and celebrating with friends, so I figured, why not do that anyway! It'll be a Network-only thing, so don't be shy. And if you wanna help, just let me know!

And thus your character finds themselves here, a part of christmas cheer and echoes, surrounded by free food and tinsel and even Mistletoe... The Christmas party! And by Christmas I mean Santa and reindeer and all that lame stuff. ]

Oh, let me see... It can't be much more than that. Siiri might know. It seems like it's been much longer, doesn't it? With the earthquake and Christmas and everything. [So much to do, she hasn't really had time to stop and think!]

A lot has happened. [Maggie agreed.] It makes you wonder just how much of what has happened in the city recently has been because of...aliens or the changes that have happened in people. And animals apparently. I recently saw a horse over the network!

I'm so glad it's not just me! I saw her too but I didn't want to say anything because, well, she seems quite nice, but a horse! [How does a horse even use the network. Not through writing, clearly.]

At least it seems to mostly be kept to this city for now. It's awful for the people who live here, but better than being widespread.

[Maggie nodded.] If someone really wanted to just put this behind them they could move thanks to that. Not that that's easy but...at least the possibility exists.

[Maggie was very attached to Locke City but if things got too out of hand, it was nice to know that there were options.]

All things considered it's nice to know that despite the changes everyone has gone through they can still enjoy themselves like this.

[It was something that Åsa had considered, but her livelihood was here, and besides, it felt too much like giving in. And she wouldn't want to leave Siiri and everyone else to deal with it, even if she's not sure that there's much that she can do.]

It's one of the best things about it all! It brings people together! People that wouldn't have met otherwise. And no matter what else happens, I think that's a really good thing.
