I... well, I suppose I don't really know where to begin with this. It's a lot to take in. It ... has been for a little while, really.

I hate to admit this, but these numbers have been in my head for a good while. A couple months, at least. I honestly took one look at what came up when I put them in, and...

Heh. I figured people had to be crazy, right? Or that this must be some sort of joke, even though I very well know I don't know any way I could have known them.

Perhaps I tried to ignore it because I didn't want to drag my family into anything crazy. Yet the more I sit here and have these things nagging at me, the more I realize I could be doing that by just sitting idly by.

What I remember that came with them is just as vivid as the day they came to me, as well.

I just need some sort of answer.

I wish I could say it was much.

Just taking a look at all this is ... sort of a lot to absorb, honestly.

My look before was brief, just enough that I wasn't sure if I bought the things that were being said. Or at least I convinced myself of that.

One of us has made a guide with all the information that we know... I wish that I could give it to you myself. But first, do you remember what happened when you first learn your numbers? (I understand if you do not tell me what it is, ma'am! Still, when it happened, you should have felt a "pulse.")

I don't really know how to explain what came to me with the numbers.

All I know is that I remembered something dying.

[Unseen, she actually has a very hard time typing that, for some reason, and feels very much that saying "something" is probably really, really terrible. The memory also came with a distressing feeling of loss and sadness, but she's not going to go into THAT with a perfect stranger.]

It's hard to ignore them really, isn't it? And answers seem hard to come by, I know I haven't had as many as I'd like. I hope you find the answers you need, though.

But people here seem friendly and I think it's much better not to have to deal with things alone!

Both the numbers and that ... "memory," yes. I certainly hope others have experienced less troubling things, at least.

But friendly isn't so much what I've been worried about, though it is very much appreciated. I just don't want to endanger my family.

Was your memory awful? I'm sorry. Mine was just sort of bland. I don't really understand it at all.

[She hadn't even thought that her family might be in danger - things seem to be isolated in the city and she can't imagine them getting involved. But there's sympathy there, she can understand the desire to keep your family safe.] It doesn't seem like we have much choice about being pulled into this, but at least you can hope that you gain the power to protect them?

The answer to why is really tricky. But, the good news is you're not crazy, and that we've all experienced the same things. Uh, not the same things - but the memories, are things we all understand.

It's a rather dramatic situation, overall. Aliens, superpowers... Too many details.

Most people assume that they are, or it's some kind of hoax. I can assume at least someone's convinced you otherwise, or tried at least.

That being said, as someone who's been around for a few months herself, it doesn't get any easier, but there are a lot of people who can help you figure things out. Myself included.

I can't say I want to dive in feet first believing everything, but there are ... certain things that are starting to come across as convincing...

"Doesn't get easier," isn't terribly encouraging, but then, I suppose I can't ask for that. If this is all what it's said to be, there's not a whole lot encouraging about it in general.

That's understandable. A lot of what happens here is pretty unbelievable, even when you've been around for a while.

Things have definitely been bad lately, and it's been hard to move around so to speak, but that doesn't mean that some good hasn't come from the network. Meeting others like yourself, or having people to possibly rely on.
