Ah, so this does still work.

Hello. My name is Lily.

I... well, I suppose I don't really know where to begin with this. It's a lot to take in. It ... has been for a little while, really.

I hate to admit this, but these numbers have been in my head for a good while. A couple months, at least. I honestly took one look at what came up when I put them in, and...

Heh. I figured people had to be crazy, right? Or that this must be some sort of joke, even though I very well know I don't know any way I could have known them.

Perhaps I tried to ignore it because I didn't want to drag my family into anything crazy. Yet the more I sit here and have these things nagging at me, the more I realize I could be doing that by just sitting idly by.

What I remember that came with them is just as vivid as the day they came to me, as well.

I just need some sort of answer.

We haven't reached something as bad as a hundred, but it's definitely on other levels than just ours. I think it could possibly turn out into a full out war.

Considering what we have doesn't seem to be anything close to an organized force, and rather just a bunch of random people all dealing with equally random things...

That would be something much worse than a war.

It's difficult because we can't always keep track of people, and people haven't gone into this willingly.

Can't imagine that there's many, if any, that wanted something like this.

Still, it would be good if we could organize somehow... but that'd be getting a lot of random people to listen and agree to something. That's hard enough with organized bodies.

Exactly. I think people have been organising themselves depending on situation and what needs doing, but nothing that has lasted, and it's never united EVERYONE.

The question is, then, can that be done as we are now?

Or is it going to take something truly awful to push us there?

...I suppose that may be over thinking, but just look at our world as we know it before all of this. People on the same side of things will bicker and squabble, and divide themselves against each other, until something threatens all of them.

The only thing that seems to tie use together in all of this, from everything I've been told, is our experiences and apparent common enemies. But no one seems to know what to really DO with the latter.

No. We don't, exactly. We've got fragments, but it's not much.

That's what's almost the most frightening, then.

Not knowing what it's going to take to push us there.

I suppose either we get a grip, or we find out.

Would it be too pessimistic to think we're going to have the latter first?

It may not be, and normally I'd agree. But when everyone tells you all of these crazy things and the only thing you can do is keep your head down... it's a lot.
