[Video; Laptop] Forward-dated to Wednesday, December 11th evening

[The video isn't focused on Killian's face right away, just his lap. There's a bow (like the ones you shoot) sitting in it, and he's playing with it for a few minutes before he finally turns the video up to his face. It's only focusing on his profile but he still looks like shit.

About like he's been crying, actually. When he speaks he sounds like he's been crying, too]

There...um. The clinic--

[It's really hard to speak. He tries again]

My...mom and I were in the DD earlier and she...she got shot by the Blood Keys. I got her to LSR but she...

[He can't say it, clenching his eyes shut and taking a few moments to recover before continuing]

Um. Yeah. So if...if I'm not, uh, around then...that's. That's why. To help pay...you know, all that stuff, I'm--I got a pulse a bit ago and I can make really fancy jewelery now. [He reaches over and grabs a sample, holding it up to the camera while not looking at it. It's made from the stuff you get at a craft store but it's pretty intricate.] If...anyone wants one, or a bracelet or something, I can make one.

[He hesitates a little longer before reaching over to cut the video]

[She's still reeling from what happened to her, but... this all started because she almost lost a family member.

What would have happened if he had been lost?

I can help you set up an online shop to sell your wares, on Etsy. I'm going to assume that you either don't have computer access or, if you do, you're not an expert.

In any case, items like that would sell really well. I can also give you some advice for a few pieces that'll be really popular... people online love pop culture stuff. So, if you did some Inspector Spacetime or Galaxy Quest or GoBots themed pieces, you'd probably make a pretty penny...

http://www.etsy.com/

It's a website where you can sell handicrafts through the internet. Your jewelry would be perfect for it.

Yes, it's not too hard.

It's 0.20 to list an item, and once it sells they take 3.5% of the price, but with pieces like that I honestly think you'll make plenty. And the items you sell through the network can get you some startup capital...

Anyway, point being, I'll help you set it up.

I'm Chris, by the way. I was at the clinic when that all happened, and I'm sorry I couldn't do more.

[It's more that she's sorry she didn't murder more of the bastards, but probably not the right sentiment to express here.]

Yeah.

Just. Yeah.

Do you want to meet up in person to set it up, or should I just email you some basic instructions and tips?

Yeah, I figure. Okay.

[and I figure email addresses are exchanged, and she sends along a nice detailed list of things like how to manage a PayPal account, how to get money from that into a bank account, how you can use PayPal to sell things in person (if he wanted to set up at one of the holiday markets around town), and then stuff about how to set up an Etsy account to sell jewelry or commissions for jewelry online, along with a little advice about pricing and some tips on a few geeky items he could sell to get attention (Inspector Spacetime and Galaxy Quest stuff, mostly)]

Got all that? I know it's a lot to take in.
