[As in: suddenly being more weird, alien blue-horse-thing than not for a large part of the evening, so much shit hitting so many fans at the Halloween party, and taking a while to calm down enough to shapeshift back to human.]

So I'm, like. Even more grounded than before. Which mean-zuh no driving-ing test today for sure. Oh. Yeah. I'm sixteen, tee-nuh, today.

I'm not, really, though. Doing-ing things. I just kind of end up where thing-zuh are.

[He really feels like Anthony has it worse than he does, thrown into the kind of life Alex is afraid might be his, and sooner rather than later, looking too different to be able to hide it. He can imagine how it feels all too well, so he tries to do what he can to make it less awful for his friend.]
