[ When she skitters back to her journal to write some more and sees the new words, a scream rips through the Valenti house. It startles all the animals except Fish the cat. That cat has seen some shit and can only stare in hate at Karson's existence.

On reflex she throws it across the room. Then waits a couple seconds. Nothing happens for a good few seconds so she tentatively checks it again. Yep, words still there, but no ghost hands popping out. Okay. ]

yes mr. thoreau i am a fan of your writing and philosophy! i think Light-Winged Smoke has to be my favorite, it makes my heart ache every time i read it, but i read I am the Autumnal Sun last year and that one really speaks to me too. i'll be sure to read more though!

he wrote a lot of really good poems and that book based off his experiences in the woods & he was an abolitionist and environmentalist and was a pretty cool guy all-around.
