I haven't been on here yet and wanted to go ahead and introduce myself. I'm Tamara Osada and a student in college majoring in both computer programming and web design.

I'm getting myself caught up and do wish to thank the people who have posted summaries of events to make it easier. For now I'd just like to say hi and if any of my computer skills could be of use I will be glad to offer them. I admit, I don't know what to think of all this still, but I can tell I should not be ignoring it.

I'm Sam Iwata. I'm majoring in psychology with a minor in music. This whole thing is a bit of a shock, huh?

[Wait, why does that name seem familiar? Now Tamara is digging through some files while typing back a response. One handed typing while messing around on the laptop is nothing beyond her.]

I do go there and you're right that it is a shock. I thought that thing I saw a few years back was just me daydreaming, not something that had some meaning. I tried everything I could to find some meaning to those numbers too.

Yeah. I had a similar experience. I thought mine was a false memory. It fascinated me so much that I decided to go into psychology.

[And now she finds it. She was really hoping he wouldn't be among those files, but she does keep them in case she ever meets one of them so she knows who to stay away from.]

Mine was just pointless and vague. There is nothing more to say about it. [Though it did eventually lead to the creation of her crowning jewel of a program. Just a shame she can't really add a virus to her portfolio of work. But she never could see the man clearly enough to try and figure out who he might be.]

Hm. I've heard that people have been getting more bits and pieces as this goes on. Maybe we'll learn enough to make sense out of our "visions."

I think I would rather not know. If some stranger hates me, then fine. He's probably dirt like most men I've met are.

[Oh. That's...an interesting statement. Sam pauses for a second while he tries to figure out a good way to respond.]

I'm sorry if this is prying too much, but...what makes you say that?

My own experiences and those of my friends. It's no wonder so many enjoy romance novels, it lets us indulge in a fantasy that will never exist in our lives.

I can understand a little of where you're coming from. There's a lot of jerks out there. And relationships are...messy. Whenever you throw people together like that things become a little unpredictable.

But I don't think that means romance is impossible. It's just not easy.

I am! I'm a freshman. I haven't chosen a major yet though.

I'm a sophomore. Last year at this time I was trying to decide and just ended up picking two.

What made you decide on programming and web design?

It's also my hobby and I may as well learn enough to make a living from them. I already do make some money from designing websites.

I hope you do as well. What matters most is that you enjoy it because you'll be spending a lot of time learning about it.

I should be fine though. I know to avoid the dangerous stuff and leave that to people more capable.

Granting your full name and potential location to virtual strangers is a risk under normal circumstances. How much more problematic is it when these strangers are somehow linked to the strange happenings going on around the city?

I definitely would not provide an address, phone number, or even email on it. I still live in the dorms, so there is more security than if I had an apartment.

Can you fill me in some details? We can meet somewhere if you think that would be better.

In my dorm room, which isn't a guarantee of privacy. [Roommate may be off studying right now, but can return at any time.] I could meet you at the student union, there should a spot to get some privacy there.
