[[OOC NOTES:
The following usernames showed up in chat but I'm not sure who they were: greenears.

The chat may have continued after the end of the log, but if it did, I don't have logs for it.

If anyone wants to do this again, I will leave the task of organizing the next one to someone else.]]

[The first thing Lloyd is seen doing is turning his head to stare at his closed bedroom door, almost as though he's trying to make sure no one is standing right outside. Finally, he turns back to face forward and sighs a bit.]

Okay, I know for a while that a lot of people who know this number have been talking about learning how to fight and stuff. I've just been wondering, do we really need to? There has to be some other way we can fix whatever's wrong here, right? It's just...I know violence can lead to worse stuff you might not have wanted to happen.

Actually, about that...

[At this Lloyd stands and opens the door to his closet. He reaches in, but suddenly stops and runs to the first door he was staring at. He opens it a crack and sticks his head through for a few seconds before closing it again and returning to the open closet. He goes in as far as he can, exiting the shot for a few moments. When he's next seen, it looks like he's trying to drag something heavy out. Finally, it's obvious that he's actually dragging two somethings, a pair of different-looking swords. They're fairly large and obviously too heavy for him to lift both with each hand.

He leans toward the computer, his voice now a harsh whisper.
]

Why did these things show up in my room a couple weeks ago?! All I can do with these is hide them from my dad!

[And now he's going to work on putting them back in his closet before the wrong person sees them...]

[Hello, network! Have some neat and spidery handwriting in a nice notebook. Across the page are little notes--page numbers, library reference numbers, book titles and various small mentions of various macabre concepts, motifs and monsters, linked via loose concept webs weaving over the page. "vermaxi" is one word apart from the others, closed off in quotes and surrounded by little question marks. it'd appear like this notebook is just as much a work notebook as a personal log.

She's already skimmed the network a bit on her computer, but it'd seem she's missed the part about it working on any other surface. just her luck!

she draws a little arrow to where she wrote her numbers, before she starts to write.

Won't get out of my head. Apparently, they connect to some weird forum. It could be an interesting device in a story? Anything's bound to turn out better than Malchior did. [and there's a little fast and heavy stroke written in annoyance after the fact, before she draws a little disgusted-looking face. who says notes can't be fun?] Not your finest work, self.

I've done a little bit of reading and listening on recent topics. Vermaxi?
[and the earlier mention of it in her notes gets underlined. repeatedly.] Giants??
Past lives?
- Transformations
- Changes
- Powers
- Swords and guns from nowhere????

Some of it's too weird. But the videos don't lie - there's something to this.

What the hell have I stumbled into?

You'd think for some kind of secret society your selection process would be a bit more thorough. What happens if someone from the other side of that conspiracy you're worried about ended up seeing this? The more I look the more it sounds like something out of a comic book.

Not to be skeptical or anything, but I think I've read this one somewhere before. Or maybe it's all just a really good Halloween joke. Kind of like some kind of ARG horror scenario, you know?

[It was kind of more of an idle musing than anything, but he feels sort of rude leaving it off at just that. Still, is it really a good idea to give out his name? But it's not as if it's the first time Tim's had to dodge around identification issues..]

...Not sure if I can be much help myself with all my hours, but let me know if anyone needs any extra hands. I don't think anyone getting in trouble is good for a secret society or a conspiracy.
