Okay, so that car was....pretty. New? Crazy? I'm just glad I've been able to help as much as I have with the clinic for those of you who got hurt in all of that. I hope everyone is okay after that. I didn't really get that good a look myself, I was too busy helping trying to get someone out of the way before they got ran over. Does anyone actually know what the deal was with that thing?

And Geoff, for that matter? None of the other...aliens have talked to us like this have they? Or, at least, since I had access to the network?

[Somewhere around mid-afternoon, within a few hours of the car monster's first appearance, a video pops up on the network of a mostly-empty street recognizable as being a few blocks away from the library. The leaves in the foreground indicate that the user's hiding behind a bush.

Nobody seems to be around but offscreen, somebody speaks in a conspiratorial stage whisper.]

Hey. Hey guys! I'm going to try and stop that car that's been on the loose today! Just gotta wait for it to come around here, heh heh heh.

If you want to join in, I'm over at the intersection of Sixth and Bedford! I don't know how long it'll take for the car to get here, but it could take a while.

Okay. So I went ahead and read this thing, so I think I have an okay handle on the basics. Considering, you know, magical network that I can somehow get on by writing a number on a sheet of paper and that makes no sense at all whatsoever.

And then there's whole thing where I'm supposedly going to end up getting superpowers. I mean I saw the news and stuff but I didn't think that it'd be happening to me. But I guess I should ask about more important stuff.

Does anyone have any idea what's going on here in Vegas? Are the police here corrupt like they were in Locke or is something else going on here? Besides what's already been on the news, I mean. Everything that's been going on lately has kinda made me a bit nervous. To, you know, say the biggest understatement ever.

... Anyway, I guess I should at least introduce myself during this, shouldn't I? My name's Linda. It's nice to meet all of you.

[ It would be nicer if, you know, she understood more about what was going on. But that was just going to need time and hopefully she'll get some answers. ]

[On the network is a short note. The letters are written in a clean and bubbly cursive in pencil... one that you'd expect from a girl...]

[insert his number here] is it something that has to do with this problem? The number seems to large to be an answer, however it appears to be important somehow.

Maybe I'm being delusional, but isn't this a number for the 'Numbered'?

If that's so then my notes are going to show up on this so-called 'network'.

Though I highly doubt I am, but still that number won't leave me alone.

If this is on there, then a greetings is in order. Worst case scenario is that I'm only going to embarrass myself thinking I'm some hero.

[He was going to write more but people were walking by and he didn't need to exactly be made fun of more than he already is for trying to write a note like this. Sure, some high schoolers around him do it too, but none of them really get away unscathed by the cruelty of other high schoolers.]
