Though I highly doubt I am, but still that number won't leave me alone.

That kind of problem is simple, but it would be faster if you used a matrix.

A matrix would be faster, but the problem is set up to eliminate a few variables rather easily and solve for one of the variables and substitute. I suppose, in the end, it all depends on how I want to solve it.
