alilyinthemoonslight[Lily has ... taken a few days to get her head together. All she'd expected of going to that meeting was to gather some information. Perhaps meet some people she hadn't from the Network. She would then make sure that information got to people who could actually do something with it, such as Annie, Winter, and Russel.
Being attacked by snakes were not in the plans. Neither was becoming a magical girl.
So when she comes on, she is as polite and well spoken as ever. Just... there is a slight hint of something in her voice that can only be described as excitement.]
Saturday night sure was a lot more than I bargained for. It's hard to even describe it, really.
Becoming a Precure, I mean. [She gives a slight laugh.] Just... all of a sudden I was stronger, and faster, and-
I could leap a dozen feet in the air and kick a stone snake, and not only did I not break my leg in doing it, it felt like it was on the easy scale of what she must have been capable of. [Pause.] Maybe even what I'm capable of now.
But I get it, now. I know what I'm getting these pulses for. Or at least, what I can use them for. And it's... kind of freeing, honestly. I can fight. I see now there's even more I have to worry about, but... it honestly almost feels like I have the power to take care of that, now, and to really be able to take care of the people I need to.
[And succeed where the past Cure Moonlight failed, she thinks to herself. She doesn't know HOW Cologne died, but... If it was truly by something nefarious, history repeating itself was not something she was going to accept so readily.]
And I will. Annie, I look back at myself now and see how hesitant I was any time you brought up this "team." If any of you need anything of me, ever, just call. It feels like I have this power for a reason now, and I need to use it.
Wisely, of course, but... I won't let it go to waste.
