Well. Whoever guessed "werewolf" got it right.

Does anyone know anything about installing sturdier windows? I believe I may have broken one last night, and I'd prefer not to do that again in the future. Or indoor solid oak doors perhaps?

[And by "believe he may", he means "most defintiely did even though I don't remember it clearly". Not enough to get out, thank heavens, but even then he's not entirely sure he could have gotten very far. He doesn't remember much, just that he spent the whole time angry and in pain.

No, no. I'm perfectly myself now. Just... decidely uncomfortable. Apparently changing into a monster overnight is a rather painful thing.

[Lyall reads the text, makes a few finger-twitches in the direction of maybe replying in the same manner, but nope, still hurts too much. So Luke continues to get his voice.]

I really don't know. Some myths state silver is a deterrent, some don't. And no myth I've come across includes the dead blood thing that I also have to deal with, so none of them may wind up applying, in the end.

I'm fine. Just quite a bit sore, but I think it's gotten better since this morning. I still can't type, but I can move about enough to at least get myself something to eat.

Or something like it, yes. There's been speculation about it ever since the sense of smell thing came in, but this would be the first time I ever changed shape.

[Text still isn't happening, though his fingers don't hurt quite as much as they did earlier... Julien gets his voice, regardless.]

I have no idea. I've never had to worry about it before. Though I did read some myths that claim werewolves will change for three nights, and others that they only change for one. All I know is I woke up a couple hours ago and I was myself again.

Quite, yes. As far as I can tell, I was fully animal, body and mind. I certainly don't remember any coherent thoughts. I believe that might be why I had the issue with the name.

A creature who turns into a wolf on the night of the full moon, and sometimes at other times as well depending on the mythology, generally in order to hunt people. Given what happened last night, I believe I may be one now.

I will be. Apparently I'm healing remarkably quickly from breaking just about every bone I have-- as in, I'm mostly healed, most of the day later, I just still hurt in a few places.
