Um... though, for everyone who was involved in the Mine collapse -- what have you been telling your families and friends, in regards to your injuries? It's probably not a good idea to tell people who don't know about this network the truth, right? What do you think?

No idea what excuse you can use, with how seriously you got hurt. As for me, I tried telling Granny that somebody's cat scratched me at the park. She didn't exactly believe me.

[Because even if his injury isn't serious, it's a bit more than taking a swipe from cat claws.]

Our grannies are pretty sharp! But you're right, mine's a little more complicated... I was thinking of telling her it was a car accident, but then I'd need a crashed car too.

Telling the truth... that'd just put her in danger, right?

Told my mom I got dared to jump off the pier when the tide was in and caught my face on some driftwood when I landed. So much for the first beach trip of the season.

Oh, that's a good one! Hehe, hopefully you'll be able to take a better trip to the beach sometime. I'd like to go, myself. Beaches are really nice!

I'm feeling pretty good. I still need to take it easy, but I could be a lot worse! I'm thankful it wasn't.

I wish I could get away with telling them something like that! I'm pretty clumsy, heheh. But I'm not sure they'd believe me because this is the worst I've ever gotten hurt before.

Depends if they'll run you out if they think you're crazy. I.. live with someone, but they're part of the network, too.

Eheheh, yeah, I guess you're right. There's a good chance they wouldn't believe me either.

But that's lucky! Um, well, sort of lucky! Having someone else who is apart of the network so close. You're able to keep tabs on each other and talk to one another about everything that's happening pretty freely.

I lucked out, my roommate decided to go visit her boyfriend this week. I can hide them enough that most people won't see the bruises and cuts I got other than her.

And you say you aren't brave and yet I see you asking Julien if he's ticklish? I do hope my discrete inquiries on his love life helped and you had fun tickling him.

My family doesn't live in town, so I haven't had to worry too much about it. And most of my injuries are hidden under my uniform at work, so I just told anyone who asked that I fell down a flight of stairs.

Maybe you could say you got hit by a car or something? If you need a fake police report or something to go with it, I could do that.

Could you really? I was thinking about telling them that, but I know they'd want to see the report and possibly try to follow up on charges... I can't fake all of that by myself!

I'm glad you haven't had any issues, though! Were you hurt badly? I hope you're feeling all right.

I'm fairly clumsy, so I just said I tripped in the park... I think my mother bought it. I definitely wouldn't tell anyone the truth, though. That... might put them in danger.

Hehe, I'm clumsy too! Though I don't know if they'd believe me if I told them I tripped on this one. I was thinking of saying I got mugged but I still have all of my things...

I just don't want to get them involved. I'd hate for anything to happen to them.

I went to the mines with a coworker, so when we got back, we just said we'd been helping someone move and had a little accident involving the collapse of a shelving unit. Since we both had the same story, I think they bought it.

Simple. I got into a fight with a couple of nasty thugs and made it out alive. I was roughed up enough from the caves that it became a believable excuse.

Ah, yes! Several of us went down to the mines outside the city, because there was an old man who seemed to know about us, but wouldn't speak until there were a lot of us there. But then the front collapsed and we were all trapped! I think everyone made it out, but I was knocked out for a while, so I don't remember much.

Just tell 'em you fell.

If it's a bad injury you can say you fell on some stairs.

Or that you were robbed, but then they might tell you to file a police report. If you can't lie to your family you probably wont do too well with cops.

I don't really like lying to them, but it's for their safety... it's too dangerous to tell the truth.
