Beaming at the discovery is impossible to cover up, but she manages to avoid blurting out the first question that comes to mind in favor of a thought-out response.]

Hello, my name is Misa Amane! I’m new here and I’d love to have a conversation with anyone who has been here a while, or has information about what’s been going on. The news has been pretty crazy, but if you want to share your stories then I’m here to listen!

I did! But, even with all this going on, you're still just a little city you know! It's not like that much news made it over to where I live! I got most of my information off the internet, and that's not always reliable! That's why I came all the way here in the first place.

I'm from Kyoto, in Japan. I was going to look into that sort of thing—and I'm still going to—but a magical number appeared so I decided to check it out! What's so bad about wanting to investigate that first?!
