[Huff, but following.] Like any of us are normal.

That's different. [[and in go the tokens!]] You act like you're an old fart even though you're younger than I am. That's weirder than anything else.

[Goes to the other end of the table.] Right, right. A kid is serious. Go call the therapist.

[It's . . . sort of a joke, at least? Nevermind how bitter it sounds.]

[[a snort]] I think the therapist has far more concerning cases than you acting like a Vulcan.

[[Clink! VRRRMM~ and Bakura drops the puck onto the table with a grin.]] Ready?

Exactly the point. [Okay, he wouldn't have phrased it like that, but the idea is the same. There's nothing wrong with the way he is.

[He snatches up the paddle.] Ready.

I won't go easy on you~ [[Grins impishly before having at it. Very aggressive and focused play, even as he's grinning up a storm]]

So what do you do for fun, if anything?

I'd be more pissed if you did. [It's patronizing when people do stuff like that. If you're going to go easy, what's even the point?

[He doesn't play these kinds of games often, but he's not an easy mark. The aggressive play is expected, and he counters right back with it. He's got good hand-eye co-ordination and good reflexes; there are other ways to develop those than arcade games.

[And that . . . Tch. The things people say when they can't get you to smile.] Soccer.

[Yeah, he actually does sports. Shocking, isn't it? There's also something he does that would probably get Bakura's seal of nerd-approval, but it's lower on the list of stuff he'd bring up.]

[[Bakura's rather pleased at that. Having a challenge with the game is always prefered!]]

Serious? Nice! Puts your size to your advantage, right? Long as you keep your speed up.

[Next shot is high-velocity, low-angle. Possibly a touch higher-velocity than he wanted, because Bakura brings up the height thing. Okay, so yes he does use it as an advantage, but that doesn't mean he likes people pointing out that he's small.]

Speed's never a problem.

[[And maybe someday, Bakura will realize that it is a touchy issue.

Maybe we can play a one on one version sometime. Since I'm pretty bad at it so you can kick my ass in return.

[[Going for a sneaky bounce shot at high speeds!]]

[That one makes it in, though he'd almost caught it. He pulls it out of the net, starts another rally.]

No fun to beat someone who sucks. [The enjoyment is in the challenge.]

No way to get better without going against someone who is, [[counters with a grin]]

[[a small snort as he smacks the puck at the goal]] Like you were born good at soccer. Besides. If you're gonna have such a stick up your ass with games like this, should at least try playing something you like, right>

You were talking about fun. Teaching isn't fun for me.

I know how to play. They teach you that in gym class.

Teaching to be good, I mean.

Not asking you to do that. That's something you learn through playing!

[But see, then that's back to being no fun for him because you suck. This conversation will just go in circles if it continues on the same subject. Even someone with Toushirou's lacking social skills knows that.

[And there's a sneaky ricochet shot. Not even what he'd really intended, but whatever.] Anything else you want to hassle me about?

[It's asked as an honest question, no defensive tone. Look, he wants to change the subject but he's bad at this, okay?]
