[As someone who's been flipping through the network's entries and responding to a few of them throughout her stay, Regina can only suspect that there is something else beneath the surface, anything that explains all the strange occurrences at Locke City — a sinister expectation. It's either that, or she's too cautious for her own good, but the unknown is getting to her much more than she'd like to admit.

Which is why she turns on the feed, setting it to voice only, and begins to speak. This college-aged woman expects answers.]

Talk about an action-packed place. I sure missed a lot when I'm not suddenly remembering a huge stream of numbers. Now that's already pretty weird as it is.

[The wry, semi-amused tone is crystal clear, complete with a gruff feminine voice to go with it.]

Oh, and before anyone brings it up, I've already read the newcomer's guide and the basic network safety protocol. In fact, I've been skimming through some of the archives as much as I could when I'm not busy preparing for the MCATs, so I get the gist of what's going on more or less. Not sure who created the guide but whoever they are, they get my thanks.

[She'd flash a thumbs-up sign but this is an audio feed, so a brief sound of genuine gratitude will suffice before fading away.]

Now, I'm not even going to bother commenting on all the weird crap that I've heard and seen, like a talking horse, some mentions of furry monsters, and a guy with long nails, so I'll just cut straight to the chase.

[A faint snort commences for a moment, then Regina pauses as she takes on a curious tone afterwards, actually attempting to sound cordial. Guess who's making an impromptu survey?]

To anyone who can hear this message, can I ask you what it's like? Knowing about the network and hearing about these strange on-goings, I mean. How do you feel about this? Do you feel angry? Upset? Lost? Out of focus? Not sure if I should add happy to the list, but hell, there might be some crazies responding, so who knows?

As for myself— [A faint hum.] I feel like I should know everything I can, just because I'm so confused! Pretty crazy, huh? [There's a soft chuckle out of her lips.] Yeah, yeah, I know. But honestly, I'm interested in hearing what you guys have to say.

First, I figured it'd be some fun times with junk gettin' shaken up.

[For the point, he raises an all-black hand, all the way up along the forearm, to push his sunglasses up onto his forehead and out of the way of his yellow eyes.]

There are some things that are good about the network and some things that are bad about it. I like the friends I've made on here. I can do without the weird abilities, dizzy spells, and memories that make no sense.

It is isolating, and it's not.

I've been hiding and making excuses from my parents and my friends, and I regret it. On the other hand, I feel we need each other. [It was after thought that he added a period there - he thought to say that they're part of something more, are linked to the same great secret or fate, but that may be romanticizing too much for her comfort.] I've become friends with people who I don't know that I would have ever talked to.

Uncertain seems the most appropriate description. What purpose this network has, why we were drawn to it and the extras we receive; the lack of definite answers regarding any of these is frustrating and perhaps unnerving, as well.

To be honest, it almost feels like those weird sci-fi shows that have been popping out lately. At least the whole numbers thing going on is adding to that feel. It's all too strange to give a straight answer.
