[ so he had been a little on the quiet side these past few weeks, but here is Shou, looking a bit grumpy and annoyed about something. from what could be seen of his surroundings, it looked a lot less like the usual rich surroundings of videos from before, but thanks to the way there's barely any light around him, it was really hard to tell. it takes him a moment to say anything but when he does, it's pretty much to the point. ]

So. If I try to go for the throat on anyone in the future, just smack me in the nose or something. Or drive me to the nearest bloodbank.

Then after that, I start crying, and then I get angry and want to fight everyone. Then I pass out and hug the closest person next to me.

Huh, so when you get to the fighting bit should I take cover until you pass out?

Well I'm pretty good at understanding nonsense but I dunno about the dodging thing. You'd feel terrible if you blacked my only good eye you know.

Eh, it's not nonsense, not really. According to my sister, I sound like I'm trying to swear in three languages but I mix them all together into one ragey scream.

Man, you just hit the full spectrum of emotions don't you? Any idea what you get so mad about?

According to my sister, I was mad that time because the beer snacks were two inches to the left of my chopsticks. So I guess I get mad for anything?

[He just loves how easily he can fluster people doesn't he?]

Right, taking cover it is. I'll get in on the hug thing after you've worn yourself out.

[He doesn't like shouting or sudden movements or aggression in his general direction. Used to be he'd squeak and cower, now he tries to fight the source. Both are fear reactions, really, when you boil it down.]

[yes, yes he does. it proves that he can move anyone if he really wants to.]

Yup. Don't wanna hurt anyone I actually like.

[shou is a bit of a fighter and not prone to hide but he also doesn't like fighting unless he has to.]

[That is a powerful gift.]

And I don't fancy getting popped over nothing.

[He grins though, not actually worried about it. Tony's never been a fighter, not until this Numbered stuff started messing with him anyway. A charmer, a weasel perhaps, and definitely prone to running away before fighting. He's always been small and fairly easy to break, and quite aware of it. You learn to play to your strengths. His were getting out of dodge before losing his teeth.]

[he was born to entertain.]

It'll hurt me if I do pop a friend over nothing.

[at least he knows how to duck and dodge. shou might worry if he hung around and not be able to do that since shou is a troublemaker.]

[As long as he never uses it for evil.]

And I'd hate to see you hurt over something so stupid.

[He's pretty good at squirming out of trouble, it's true. Well except for when he goes rushing head first into it. Really gotta learn how to turn that off it's going to get him killed.]

[shou's not evil. only chaotically inclined.]

Eh, I'm pretty resilient. Don't worry about me.

[Even if the fact that people do care and treat him like he matters means the world to him. He just doesn't know how to react to it.]
