[ so he had been a little on the quiet side these past few weeks, but here is Shou, looking a bit grumpy and annoyed about something. from what could be seen of his surroundings, it looked a lot less like the usual rich surroundings of videos from before, but thanks to the way there's barely any light around him, it was really hard to tell. it takes him a moment to say anything but when he does, it's pretty much to the point. ]

So. If I try to go for the throat on anyone in the future, just smack me in the nose or something. Or drive me to the nearest bloodbank.

It's happening, huh? You need anything?

I'm good right now. All I've got are the fangs and the sensitive skin. I'm just thinking to warn people when the real beast comes free, you know?

I'm not too sure if it would do it for me, but then again I've got no clue what would. All I know is that I got these fangs and I burn a little in the sun.

We've had others with similar problems. I can also talk to the guy we buy the restaurant's beef from, see if he sells blood

[He's avoiding saying the word "vampire," but yeah, he's had similar discussions before. No one's ever taken him up on the offer of green blood, at least.]

[Hue hue, poor Shou.]

Well, now you do know. [he grins, and yup there are his fangs looking like they belong despite the fact they weren't there just a week or so ago.] I can show you what to do with it all. Although I think we'll not start with the pole dancing lessons until later. You can grab some stuff from Hajime's place; they should know what I like by now.

[and at the glitter comment, he just makes a face.] I've got more than enough glitter makeup. If you want, you can even try some.

Tell him you're making something with blood in it... there's got to be something that has it, right? But I don't need any now. I just got these annoying fangs and my skin starts turning red in the sun.

Good. I wanna stay in one piece for a while longer.

[Shou really can pull off any look, can't he? At least they don't look ridiculous or misplaced, that would be even more annoying. He grins back, can't help but follow suite as Shou's cheer can be infectious.] If I ever decide on an alternate career path, I know where to go. [More teasing grins.] Sure just toss me the address I'm sure I can find it.

You know one of these days I'm gonna stop being surprised by you, man. I'll pass, I don't think sparkling is really my style.

Pole dancing is good for the core muscles. [still grinning and it takes him a moment to look up the address and rattle it off to Tony.]

You mean I haven't shown you my dress collection yet? Or my heels? [laughs a little.] Sparkling all over isn't my thing, but a little touch here and there doesn't hurt.

Don't worry, I'll think of something. We don't Serve anything that uses blood, but I'm sure I can find something that does if I need an excuse.

[And he's quiet a bit.]

[Translation: he's been working as much overtime as he possibly can. At least he looks like he's been getting enough sleep...because he doesn't need to sleep anymore. There's a bit of hesitation before he speaks again.]

Lucy doesn't always wear the same dress and shoes every time she goes out. People would talk. [and there is that wink, the one that looks like he's trying not to sneeze.] Wouldn't want people to think that I dressed completely in the dark, right?

Mebbe there's something American that you can say you wanted to try or something.

Hey. Stop it. [Shou was frowning at him and wagging a finger.] No brooding bug monster guilt. That place made me jumpy and I don't jump at anything, so making you go nuts is to be expected. don't let it bother you. You didn't hurt me after all.

I don't need anything yet. I just gotta feeling that I might go that way and if I get that pulse back in the middle of things, it might be good to give out a warning or something.

I'm telling you that if I get a pulse where I start going for necks that it won't be something I've done on purpose. It's a warning, not an actually 'I can't control anything I do ever'.

Can't say that I have. They usually don't let people who can't pay into those kinds of places, you know? [Perhaps not, but he's not exactly 'used' to much of anything. Besides adventure is the spice of life and all that.]

Lucy? [Huh? ...Oh-oh hah! A grin forms slowly as he catches on.] 'Course not, wouldn't want that. Even if she does rock whatever style she puts on that day, yeah? [The sneeze wink is best okay.] Especially dressed in the dark and rolled around in glitter.

You ain't missing much. Most working places aren't the best. [then this was going to be fun. shou will even teach him how to use real utensils.]

She rocks everything, though she really loves her rhinestone heels. [when will they talk about stuff that is serious? probably never.] I like to think that I am not going to turn into a discoball vampire.
