[Liam's looking rather excited and shocked today when he turns on the laptop in his hotel room. It's apparent that he wants to look at the camera to speak to the network, but he's also unable to take his eyes off of whatever it outside the window to the side... which in this case is everything.]

Guys, guys... you will not believe this! I can see like... forever!

Nah, I'm fine. The crutches kept me standing. Tomorrow I get to walk without them.

Yeah I think I should wait a bit before I go adventuring. My senses are all sorts of screwed up.

[Pause.]

Hey, you have some time to pop by Vegas either today or tomorrow for a little bit?

I can come down tomorrow. Do you need me to bring something?

I've been stuck in my room for like a week. The hotel has a laundry room but I can't get down there. Well... I could get down there but I couldn't carry my stuff. Any chance you can stop by the house and pick up some clothes next time you check on Jack?

[Pause.]

Also earplugs, if you have time. All the Dwarves are busy.

[...and he's a little bored and lonely, but he's not about to admit that.]

[The loneliness can be guessed at and Gabriel smiles.] I'm sure I can manage that. Any you want in particular, or should I just grab a handful? I can help you do laundry if you want too?

Nah, just regular stuff... That would be cool of you, but only if it's not a pain.

[Thoughtful pause.]

Come to think of it, I'm not sure I'd be able to see the buttons on the machine unless I was outside the building or something. This is going to be really annoying. You said your super sight came on slower?

It's not a problem. I wanted to come up at some point soon anyway, I don't like leaving them all to their own devices in that mountain. If they've got wifi set up by the new year maybe I'll move over there. [He won't have anything tying him to Locke by that point aside from his flat.]

At first I thought it was just repairing age damage, so I didn't pay it much attention until I realised I could make out what people were reading on the street from my patio, and it's gotten better since then. Nothing seems to have changed much since I stopped getting younger, though, so perhaps it was tied into that.

Huh. Well, I hope I don't get any younger, but for some reason I don't think I will. I don't think they'd have let a kid do the stuff I used to do back then. Unless I was some kind of badass prodigy or something. Though I did skip a grade when I was a kid.

[~~Liam a prodigy? Horrifying thought.~~]

[Gabriel raises an eyebrow, but he's not that surprised. After all, smart people tend to be a bit clueless socially. Gabriel was always pretty average at school.]

You'd have thought that you would have remembered if you were a kid. Or one of us would have. Or something.

...Have any of us actually remembered anything about you in particular, or is it just that shared world thing again?

Ariel remembered that we worked together, and I know she was "Captain of the Guard." Other than that, I don't really remember you guys for real.

[Pause.]

I remember some other people though. Like this Dwarf Gimli, I remember talking to him and thinking he was cool. Totally threw me for a loop. And then there's this other guy - I don't know his name, but he seems important - and he wears some kind of flower crown and he's blind in one eye... there's another guy but I don't know much about him.

[He doesn't go into detail there, it involved the fire-demon but he'd told Gabriel before.]

The only person I've remembered in detail so far is the elf I remember taking down the... demon-thing and I'm fairly sure he wasn't you or Ariel. Not unless your face and hair colour are going to change completely. [Although on second thought that could happen but he doesn't want to think about that.] There are a few others, but no one that I could recognise. But then, do you think that all elves lived together? Then again it seems that all of our dwarves are related somehow.

Oh, man I hope my face and hair don't change I still want to be me, even if I have to deal with echos.

Um, good question. The Dwarves seem kind of together, yeah, but... we're not Dwarves. Then again I don't see why we couldn't all be from the same place?

It seems... nice and neat the idea that we might all come from the same place, but perhaps it's too nice and neat. After all, all of the dwarves are related to each other, in real life as much as anything else, but we're from all over. Not even the same country all over. [He sighs.] I suppose like everything else there's no point in worrying about it too much, as we'll find out sooner or later.

...Technically Ariel is related to the Dwarves.

True. Do you think it will ever stop? The memories and stuff, I mean.
