[It's been well over a week since Robyn last made an appearance on the network. She had needed some time to recover and sort herself out after the ordeal she had been through, she wasn't anywhere near one hundred percent but she was at least ready to make an attempt to show up in front of her friends again.

She was incredibly nervous about doing this, she knew there were a fair number of people that thought it would be best to wait for the mafia to release her... But that wasn't exactly how things had worked out. She knew there had been a lot of arguing over the situation. She had only seen a little of it during the short time she had access to the network, but it was enough to make her nervous of how people might be reacting to the fact that her rescuers had probably made the mafia really angry. She certainly couldn't bring herself to be mad at them, they had saved her plain and simple.]

[So the feed opens up with Robyn staring at the screen, chewing on her lower lip nervously. After a moment she'll raise her hand and wave nervously. She certainly looks to be a lot better than when she was being held by Albero, but there are dark bags under her eyes. It's pretty obvious she hasn't been sleeping well lately.]

Uhmm... Hey! Uh-Long time, no see?

I just wanted everyone to know I'm here and uhm-I'm fine.

So... You all don't have to worry anymore.

I-uh... Haven't really been checking here over the last little while and I kind of, sorta lost my cellphone during the-

[She frowns and decides against talking about what had happened and moves on.]

-The thing... But I just got a new one a couple days ago, so getting a hold of me shouldn't be a problem.

[She stares at the screen for a moment, completely unsure of what to say next. She feels like this may not have been the best idea.]

Well-I'm gonna go now. I just wanted to say well... Thank you and I-I'm sorry for everything that happened.
[She let's out a deep breath and shuts down the feed for now. She'll give herself a few minutes before she starts responding.]

[OOC: Hey! I know there are people that mentioned wanting to visit Robyn after the plot. If anyone still wants to do that feel free to start something here or let me know and I can get things going.]

[She'd heard about the rescue, and almost took part in it herself. It was likely for the best that she didn't though.]

...[She put on a tired smile.] I guess getting you that phone was a really good idea.

[She hangs her head at the mention of the phone. She felt terrible that she had got got it and had already lost it.

[It hadn't been that hard to track down Robyn's house. Not when one had a particularly strong sense of smell and knew exactly what she smelled like, anyway. ... and had a lot of time on one's hands. There's that, too.

So the evening after Robyn makes her return video to the network, there comes a scratching on her front door, with a canine sounding whine to go with it to prove it's not another kidnapper. Because if it were Lyall, he'd want some assurance of that, himself. Whether or not she opens up, or her father does, is up in the air, but whoever does, there's a large, shaggy, tawny "dog" sitting on the porch with a note in an envelope at its paws, with Robyn's name on it. The note is slightly damp. Wolf spit and lack of hands. You know how it goes.]

[Robyn's dad was out at the time the Lyall came to the door. Robyn glanced up from where she was sitting to peer cautiously when she heard the sounds. Eventually she tip-toed over toward the door, it took another moment before she opened the door just a crack to peek outside.

The "dog" is certainly not one she has seen around here before and the note at it's paws is kind of strange too. She certainly hasn't put together that it and Lyall could be one and the same, not yet anyways.]

Is... That for me?

[She'll slowly inch out the door and toward the note to pick it up.]

[This doesn't come as news to Danny. He's been invisibly checking up on her every day since they got her out, just to make sure she's still fine despite her network absence. He can't even blame her for that, honestly, he understands that feeling. So he figured he'd just make sure she's still safe, and otherwise...back off until she feels ready to talk again.

[Each day Danny checked up on her, he'd see little improvements over how she had been the day before. Each day she was a little more willing to get up and leave the safety of her bed, a little less likely to jump at any sudden noises, and a little more likely to actually crack a smile. She was still a far cry from her usual energetic self, but she was trying and was eventually she'd get there.

The worst would be if he ever checked up at her night, sleeping was what she struggled with the most. Being trapped in a room only unable to see or hear anything save for the Vermaxi's breathing had done a number on her. Most nights she spent tossing and turning, when she did sleep it didn't last very long and more often than not it ended after a nightmare.]

[She did her best to give Danny the brightest smile she could muster. It was lacklustre compare to anything she normally produced, but considering what she had been through. She didn't want to look hurt in front of him, not after all that he had done for her.]

H-hi!

[Her voice cracked with the first word, great start Robyn.]

Y-you do? She did? That's great...! Come over whenever. Dad's out for the day.

[She shrugged and looked over to the other end of her desk.]

I had some of my homework brought to me, but I haven't really gotten to it yet.

[Robyn just stares. ...Is that Raye's shirt? Is... It moving around? She blinks once, twice and a third time only to find it's still doing it. This has got to be the strangest thing she has ever seen, and she has seen some pretty strange things in the last few months.

It takes her a moment to catch on to what it's going with those tiles, but eventually puts the message together and can't help but smile.]

Y-yeah. Better now then I had been.

[Robyn remembered that Raye had said she'd be coming to the warehouse that night, but she never actually saw her.]

[The second she gets the news that Robyn is home, Melissa is heading straight over there. She's still not quite used to this whole 'attachment' thing, but god damnit if she's going to be protective and worried then she's going to do it right.

She reaches the apartment pretty quickly, knocking- they should know she's coming.]

[Harry's right at the door when Melissa arrives. He was just about to step out to get food for him and Robyn, if anything he looks relieved that Melissa will be there while he's gone.

Melissa will find Robyn in her bedroom, she hasn't really left it much since she got home. It's safe and comfortable and she's exhausted so that's where she wants to stay at the moment. When Melissa gets into the room, Robyn will tilt her head in the direction of the door.]

A-aunt Melissa!

[She'll start to try and climb out of bed to go greet her and give her a hug, but she's slow, sluggish and stumbling from the lack of sleep.]

[Someone might have heard through the grapevine that Robyn was back, but couldn't drop by till a little later that day. Actually, Karl just happened to be at band practice when the news came. It had to be the best news heard in a while. Karl did the little he could to help, but even the police force is little match against the mob. ah well, what matters is that the girl is safe and sound. No doubt Melissa went immediately so rather than rushing, he waited till practice ended.

And boy does the guy look the part, too. His dress is far more casual than normal and fingerless gloves really add a nice MIDLIFE CRISIS?? air to the cop. A change of outfit might have happened, but he didn't want to waste time changing clothes. This is why Karl stands outside Robyn's residence dressed like a modern-day rocker.]

[The last thing Robyn expected when she opened the door to her apartment was to see Karl in a full rocker get up. She knew from Melissa that he was in a band and that he had a particularly well known jacket but to actually see him like this just left her kind of flabbergasted.
