His room behind his computer is, and the wall behind his battle station desk is lined with glass cases holding figurines lit up by the flourescents he'd wired into the casing to show off the collection. It's only part of his room, but at least it looks... clean? Surprisingly clean for the young boy who finally appears, sitting back down on his computer chair with a bag of snacks in hand. He sniffs, then realizes the camera's turned on.]

Finally! That weird code seemed to have worked.

[He eats a chip.] So this is the Network... I see.

[Mao looks thoughtful before he grins.]

[He's not... that impressed. He likes anime of course, but video games and western comics and cartoons are also on the menu here. He's not the biggest weeb the Network has seen, at least.]

Yeah it's cartoons, but the word anime differentiates it from western ones. I like both, and they have different cultural backgrounds. Don't be an idiot. [Says the elitist.]

I am Japanese, idiot. They are just cartoons to me while Western stuff is animation.

Cosplay is very cool no matter who does it. Focusing on just the ladies just shows that you have no real idea of the dedication and work that is involved.

It's not that big of a deal, especially since the shows we give you guys are usually are slush pile shows anyways.

Sounds like you're just in for the fanservice and not for the work it comes with it. There are sucky people in all levels, but if you are so exclusive to not even bother with looking, then you really aren't into any of it save for skin.
