Ariel appears on the network through the video feed of her laptop looking fairly worried but also a little annoyed.]

Has anyone seen or heard from Liam over the weekend? I know hes been having some troubles lately, but he usually keeps in touch with me. Except he stopped doing that Saturday. [Only she hadn't noticed until Monday because of reasons.] His last text was pretty normal for him so now I'm worried that he might have been kidnapped.

Before anyone asks, yes I've been to his house and no he isn't there and Jack seems to be gone too. I am really worried about him though, Like seriously worried. Anyone who has known him for five minutes will know why.

So far that's pretty much nearly everyone I know that he knows. This is not looking good. There are a lot of things he isn't good at, which is the problem.

Including knowing that he's not good at things. You think if he got captured he'd call for help?

If he was able to. I'm pretty sure he would do that or at least try to.

It's really easy to set up a network connection. You can do it on your own skin and clothes, in the inside of your mouth.

...then again, I'm not sure he knows that.

This is Liam.... and I didn't know you could set up a network connection with the mouth. What, you just recite your impossibly long string of numbers and, bam voice chat?

You use your tongue and trace it against whatever surface it can get to. Mine's all stiff, but I've got these clasper things on it than can do the job.

Things are kinda muffled like that, mind.

Right... I'll have to keep that in mind, but I honestly don't think Liam would think of it.

It's not much weirder than connecting into a cup of coffee! You should try that sometime.

...anyway. He locked stuff up at his place? More than he would if he was just gonna take his dog out.

That I couldn't say... after all this is Liam? I just know the door was locked and when I knocked, Jack didn't start barking like crazy. I did a walk around in case he was gone on a hike or something, but I didn't see anything that indicated one way or another what happened to him.

I could head over and see if I can find a way inside.

[sylvanguard]

At this point? I am not saying no. [Yes she is encouraging you to break the law.] If he is missing and or kidnapped we need to know asap. If he is just a doofus that forgot to say he was leaving town, I can feel better about being angry.

[shhh who said he'd be breaking the law? he'd be... finding a key under the doormat, of course. Julien is nothing if not morally sound.]

Right. You want to come with? I know you're there more often than me.

Only to pick him up usually. but yeah I can come with. The question is, how are we going to get you there?

If you have a car or can borrow one, I can fit into the backseat. Something with tinted windows is better, but if not, it's manageable.

Dude how long have you known me? I've a prius. The windows aren't really tinted but you can fit pretty easily I think. The back seats fold down for more space.

[espigeonage]

All right. You bring it over to the Stark house, I'll meet you at the gate. I hope it's not too long a drive.

He lives in the suburbs of Locke but it isn't that far... 20 minutes or so? At least from my condo if the traffic is good.

[espigeonage]

Right now I'm living in his same general area. I call it the "rich people in the woods" part of town.

That'll make things easier. Be there in 30?

[And true to form Ariel is there 30 minutes later. She's left Killian back home to field calls and such should anyone come up with something concrete about Liam.]

[As she pulls up Julien hops off the wall and glides wide-winged to a landing, close enough that it might be prudent to step on the brakes. He leans the considerable distance down to peer through her window.]

Gi suilon! Are your seats folded already?

[sylvanguard]

Mae govannen! No! I need to do that now. [To which she gets out of the car and begins folding the seats down so he has room to fit in the back.] It's good to see you again Julien. How have things been with you?

[espigeonage]

[He struts along to the back to watch her, wondering if he should help... but it looks like she's got it.]

It's quiet out here! Too quiet. That's better than the alternative, I guess. [Ever-social Julien is lonely.] You're looking good.

[sylvanguard]

Well at least you have room to move around, unlike your apartment. She flashes him a small grin. [He might notice her new tattoo On her right forearm.] Only because of Athelas [She is trying not to show that the most recent scar on her side still bothers her every so often.] And thanks.
