[some of you may have seen this relatively new number replying to other posts for a bit (and if you have you've seen how weird the owner is) but most of you probably haven't. either way Nyah's making a post now as if she's always been here, no introduction or other newbie-related stuff included. she figures it's not really important to the narrative if she's doing some information scouting]

how many of you are reincarnated lovers?
if you could specify if you were also tragic and to what degree in your past life thatd be super helpful
im trying to figure out which genres this whole thing isnt trying to play with and romance is a big fat question mark right now
if it does end up being relevant then im going to wash my hands of this whole thing from a creative perspective i swear
what a clunky thing to have to deal with

unrelated to the first question, but
throw some mythologies that feature malevolent entities with major canine characteristics at me?
im looking to expand my horizons on that front

Oh. Well, meditation is the most familiar thing to me on that list, but I'm rather sure that it's not really all that conductive to oracular related things.

if youre not aiming for it when you meditate, sure
or if you just dont have the mind for it

I wouldn't know if I did or didn't. I don't put much trust in things like that.

i made contact with my spirit guide too so sometimes i see her

yeah obviously
i wasnt even in the country when i started working on this stuff

I don't know what I was expecting. Maybe evidence this was happening somewhere else before here.

What made you so interested in things like this?

if it was im glad it wasnt with me
the everything starts in africa stuff is reeeeeeeally tired
but i guess its a combination of my mom and just a general interest
shed tell me navajo stories when i was little and then i just did my own research

I think there was someone else on here who was talking about things like that. Not Native American culture. Popular movie tropes. Or media tropes. Either way.
My own mother was similar in the stories aspect, though mine were just translated tales from Baital Pachisi.

yeah i think i talked with him for a little bit
he dehumanized the whole thing though it wasnt that great
that still sounds really nice
good stories are important when youre little

They are. It's sort of nostalgic. It was way easier to be alive then, anyway.
But if he dehumanizes it, then what are you doing? Out of curiosity, I mean.

im using them to look at the world and pick out patterns
he was just stripping them of everything and laying them out in neat little lists
theres a difference
you have to have a little finesse or youre just going to look like an asshole

I guess you're right about that in a way. Personally I see it all as sort of depersonalizing. But I can't really say I'm bothered by it.

its only depersonalizing if you dont move on from them
theyre the skeleton
but skeletons dont do anything without muscles and all that other good stuff on top
unless theyre enchanted but at that point youre just splitting hairs

So essentially you're making sure that you keep around all the good stuff.
