One Star [TEXT]

Bear with me guys, I'm a bit new to all this.
[That being the superhero or whatever it was being called, thing.]

The name is Ariel. I've suspected for some time that I was different, but until recently I didn't think there was really anyone else like me. Now I know I'm wrong.

Anyway, I'm here more to offer help than to blather on about myself. My dad is a photographer of some renown, popular in fashion mags and stuff. He is best known for his "fusion photography" which is combining nature and models together to create awareness about the environment and stuff. Well, I know there are a few of you out there whose appearance might not be considered normal, so I'm making this offer to you, drop me a line and I'll get you in touch with my dad. Maybe you could put a positive spin on things before the media fear mongers you into something you don't want to be.

Anyway, aside from that, I'm curious to know just how many people out there have a thing for archery? I recently discovered I am quite good at it. Like, insanely good. I'd like to maybe have a friendly competition between archers one of these days. You know get to know each other and all that.

Just luck it seems. I found an old bow in a second hand store and just felt the overwhelming urge to buy it. I went out and tested it out and well you can imagine the rest.

That's... actually kind of fascinating. And understandable, considering i've been through somewhat of the same thing. With much less interesting results.

Honestly, I was really surprised. Like really surprised. Archery is not something I ever imagined I'd be good at. And what is it you ended up doing? I'd love to hear about other people's experiences.

Then you might have to ask someone else- I haven't ended up doing anything out of the ordinary. Yet.

Sounds like you've got some fun times ahead of you as well.

That's a pleasant way of looking at it.

[She shrugs.] No point in pissing and moaning about the numbers, right? It happening whether you want it to or not, so might as well be positive about it.

Except for when it's nothing worth being positive about. Neutrality is equally as acceptable, I take it?

I guess? It' depends on how the person is. I'm not a negative person, so I rather not be negative. But if indifference or neutrality are your thing, then so be it.

Actually they aren't. I much prefer one side of the scale or the other. Neutrality hardly ever accomplishes anything at the end of the day, and i'd much rather have done something than nothing at all.

Although I agree with you about taking a side, neutrality does have it's uses and it's benefits. Only, it's more effective if you're a country more so than a person.

When you're a person, you're simply told more often than not that you should buck up and take a side for everyone else's benefit.

Isn't also for your own benefit as well?

That's the idea, though i'm not sure it's always the case.
