Bear with me guys, I'm a bit new to all this.
[That being the superhero or whatever it was being called, thing.]

The name is Ariel. I've suspected for some time that I was different, but until recently I didn't think there was really anyone else like me. Now I know I'm wrong.

Anyway, I'm here more to offer help than to blather on about myself. My dad is a photographer of some renown, popular in fashion mags and stuff. He is best known for his "fusion photography" which is combining nature and models together to create awareness about the environment and stuff. Well, I know there are a few of you out there whose appearance might not be considered normal, so I'm making this offer to you, drop me a line and I'll get you in touch with my dad. Maybe you could put a positive spin on things before the media fear mongers you into something you don't want to be.

[A small hesitation in typing. It's conceivable that there are people who want to be feared as well, and she knows it.]

Anyway, aside from that, I'm curious to know just how many people out there have a thing for archery? I recently discovered I am quite good at it. Like, insanely good. I'd like to maybe have a friendly competition between archers one of these days. You know get to know each other and all that.

My bow literally just appeared in my bed after I came back from helping some friends. Same with this.

[He gets up and digs around, coming back with his sword]

Apparently, past me was a fighter. --oh, yeah, uh. The pulses--that's the memories and skills and stuff--they're from you're past life.

I didn't mention you specifically by the way. I just said I knew someone like you who needed a job. [She has more sense than that. Not always, but at least in this!]

Well, there are a lot of giant bird monsters running around... [He winks casually to make it clear this isn't serious.]

I don't suppose he said anything about pay range, or if like... there's a contract involved?

I haven't had many... pulses, just the knowledge about the bow.

[She arches an eyebrow at the sword.] Did that appear in your bed too?

[She sighs and quirks a smile in relief.]

I don't know the details, but there probably will be a contract involved since he is '"discovering" you-- his words now mine. And probably no money right away, just a lot of positive publicity at first. But that's all I know. He won't cheat you though, promise!

Huh. And he'll I guess give me copies of any pictures? I should... probably talk to Gabe about this, he'll know more about um... this.

No, my suitcase. It wasn't there when I packed it but when I got around to unpacking, bam! There it was. It's really annoying, but kinda cool.

[He laughs again and sets his sword aside]

I can use the sword, too, which is probably a good thing since I wouldn't want something I can't actually use without hurting myself, yeah?

[Slightly relieved there.] You're lucky it didn't get you into trouble anywhere. But it's good you know how to use it. I don't know if I have skill with any other weapons. I've been hesitant to find out just in case I'm like Rambo or something.

[Killian snorts]

I can do that! Probably he's heard of me already, if he takes an interest in this sort of thing. Are there particular hours?

I missed on that last shot! [Never mind her eyes were closed and she was shooting with her non-dominant hand.]

But it was fun. We'll need to visit the range while I'm in town.

Fashion doesn't sleep and neither does my dad. Any time is cool. Mom might kill you if it's past 11pm though [she laughs and smiles at that.]

And make everyone else feel bad? Sure, why not.

[It sounds fun, actually, whereas before he'd been avoiding it because of the looks. Maybe it'll be different with someone else]

Here's to hoping we don't get kicked out for being too good, though.
