Bear with me guys, I'm a bit new to all this.
[That being the superhero or whatever it was being called, thing.]

The name is Ariel. I've suspected for some time that I was different, but until recently I didn't think there was really anyone else like me. Now I know I'm wrong.

Anyway, I'm here more to offer help than to blather on about myself. My dad is a photographer of some renown, popular in fashion mags and stuff. He is best known for his "fusion photography" which is combining nature and models together to create awareness about the environment and stuff. Well, I know there are a few of you out there whose appearance might not be considered normal, so I'm making this offer to you, drop me a line and I'll get you in touch with my dad. Maybe you could put a positive spin on things before the media fear mongers you into something you don't want to be.

[A small hesitation in typing. It's conceivable that there are people who want to be feared as well, and she knows it.]

This is only if you want to try and change public opinion of you or maybe start a new career. [Talking to you Julian.]

Anyway, aside from that, I'm curious to know just how many people out there have a thing for archery? I recently discovered I am quite good at it. Like, insanely good. I'd like to maybe have a friendly competition between archers one of these days. You know get to know each other and all that.

I'm sure there are others who could give me a run for their money. There have to be others out there who are just as good if not better.

[She chuckles.] Well there are other places we can go and practice if we have to.

Like the park? Oh, or I work a second job at a stable not too far outta town, that'd be safe, probably. As long as we're not near the horses, anyway.

Oh a stable? I didn't know there even was one. That sounds like a great place, so long as like you said, we avoid the horses.

Yeah, I'm friends with the owner's daughter and she, at least, knows about the Network and stuff so she's generally cool with weird stuff happening on the property. One of the horses is on the Network, though, and she has telepathy? And she's kinda chatty, but she's pretty well behaved otherwise.

[That gives her a moment's pause. A horse on the network? That shouldn't be surprising, but it was.]

Know any good coffee shops? My favorite one kind of got destroyed.

Other than Starbucks? There's one on my bus route that's pretty good.

Starbucks is alright, but too.. trendy? And the lines are killer for a get in and out quick dash.

It's just too expensive for me.

[Shrugs]

But the coffee shop on my bus route's smaller and honestly has better tasting coffee. Less sugary gunk.

So long as the place doesn't burn the coffee I'm happy. But, sugar is an absolute must.

I don't know how it's done, but it can happen! Probably leaving it on the heating element too long.

Any day, really. I don't work at the stable on Sundays, though.

Well I am in town for the next week or so before going back to job, so I am good for any day as well. Maybe we can get some archery as well?

We could still probably find time to shoot, if you wanted.

Sundays are fine for me. We going to go to the stables? If we are, you'll have to show me where it is.

We can, sure. Just meet at Thorir's place and we can take the buses from there. Unless you've got a car or something?

[She grins and winks to him.] I wouldn't be driving to work if I didn't. Its not much, but it runs.
